This is a great spa. I recently got a massage at Red?s and I cannot recommend it enough. The massage therapist is very personable and and great at finding out the right pressure that your body can handle. You will definitely leave feeling far better than you did when you arrived! more

I have gotten my first hot stone and professional massages with Jessica and she was wonderful! Martina does my pedicures and she is the best EVER!!! I was always scared to get facials, but I received a gift certificate to see Kristi and i really, really enjoyed it. She even custom blended a couple of products for my skin and they are exactly what i was always trying to get out of department store brands but never did, no matter how many i tried!! As far as hair goes, I'm already seeing someone that I really like elsewhere, but the styles i saw leaving the salon looked great. I also love the ambiance of the old factory, and that afterwards I can stop by Coffee Grounds and get my favorite drink. Pros: Really good hot stone, and regular massages, pedicures... After trying MANY salons in Grand Haven over the years I went to Red's in 1996. Prior to Red's I had never been truly satisfied with any cut I had received. I had thick, medium length, wavy hair and no one could figure out how to cut it in a stylish way. My first stylist had hair just like mine and gave me a great cut. When she left on maternity leave, I feared no one would understand my hair again. Since then I've had my hair cut by several stylists, as some have come and gone, or I had some emergency need arise when mine was on vacation or booked solid. Over the years my hair has thinned and my stylist always has great suggestions to address my changing hair. I have always received a good quality cut and been satisfied. I also get highlights and lowlights and my color has always been beautiful. I feel like the stylists listen to me and therefore always give me the style I want, not what they think I should get. I've lived in other cities - Detroit & Kansas City - and until I went to Red's never had a cut truly suited to my hair type and personality. They are pricey, especially for color services, but after past experiences, I'm afraid to look for a new place just to save money. I went to this ""spa"" because my friend said she used to go here when she was in high school. Well, it seems that the years have not been kind to the place that once was "":the place"" to go in Grand Haven. The building it is in is a ghost town!! Once I found the place, the ""waiting room??"""" is in the hallway!! I went for a haircut which was ok and the stylist was nice enough. The salon just is not tidy at all. They have shampoo bottles crammed in the window sills and nail tables jammed in the reception area. Some of the employees had an ""80's"" or ""I'm old and trying to be hip"" look to them. I'll make sure I get my haircut in Kansas City before I travel for vacation next year! Pros: Located downtown, neat historic building Cons: Desserted!, ""outdated"" staff, un-tidy atmosphere more
