A friend referred them so I called and the woman in the office was so nice. The technician was here within 2 hours and was so helpful! Very nice, great information. The whole experience felt honest and comfortable. more

Our washer started acting up and buying a new washer was not in the budget. We went to get a used one from Pioneer appliance. There were a few to choose from and when we asked which one was the best, the salesperson showed us one that was exactly the same brand we had at home. When we told her the symptoms, she diagnosed it for us and sold us a $35 valve and told me exactly how to fix it myself. 20 minutes later our washer is good as new. It feels so good to receive excellent service and not be taken advantage of. I will never go anywhere else for an appliance again. more

Just moved to Leander and our dryer broke. I called them for information and got not 1 but 2 phone calls right back with all the answers I needed. Not only did they fix our problem and charge us a VERY reasonable amount, they gave us tips on how to keep our machine working properly. I am so glad that we found our new place for ANY appliance issue we have in the future. They were sooooo nice to the ""new kids in town"" Thanks guys!!! Customers for life :) more

Our dishwasher , in one of our rental's, was not draining. So, my husband stopped by Pioneer Appliance, to ask some questions. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help him. They have helped him in the past with our ice-dispenser in our fridge, too! Thank you for that, because now I have crushed ice! My husband called me, just to say how Very pleased he was with them. more

The way I found them was that our washing machine stopped working so I called an appliance repair service. They told me over the phone I was better off buying a new machine. So I asked the woman if she knew of a place that sold used machines. We didn't have money for a new one. She gave me the number to Pioneer Apliance. I went to their shop to see what they had. I spoke with Ann and told her what had happened to our washer. She told me what could be wrong with it and convinced me to bring it in, since it wasn't that old of a machine. I brought it to their shop and they checked it out. It turned out to be a small problem. A sock had gotten stuck in the pump of the washer and shut everything down. They got it to work and only charged me 25.00 dollars for there work. I ended up giving her forty dollars as a small token of my appreciation. We just moved here to Austin from Chicago about a month ago. She could have gouged us for alot of money or tried to sell us another machine, but she was very honest and straight forward about what they would do. I appreciated her honesty and how much she helped us out. Letting people know about them is another small token of my appreciation. Thank you Pioneer Appliance!!\r more

Ann at Pioneer was a real weekend saver. I was in the middle of doing laundry up for a long weekend trip and my washer quit with a tub full of water and clothes in it. After messing with it a couple of hours and making phone calls trying to get a repair person, I came across Pioneer Appliance's ad in City Search. I was ready to just write the weekend off when I got Ann on the phone and explained what the washer had done. She asked me a couple of questions then diagnosed the problem right over the phone and how to Gerry-rig it. Don't have time to put a new switch in right now because I'm going on my long weekend, in clean clothes thanks to Ann. But I will be going to Pioneer for the new part when I get back. I think I'm in love! more

Ann diagnosed and repaired my stove VERRY reasonably!! Further, she educated me on my other appliances and how to keep them functioning long after their intended lifespan.\r \r She can absolutely educate anyone on how to make your appliances last 20 yrs or better as long as you are willing to apply her wisdom. Ann and the rest of the crew will help you how ever they can, whether its showing you their like-new used appliances or helping you trouble shoot a troublesome dryer. We have bought parts for our dryer, that now works wonderfully, a practially new gas stove that I just love and a second fridge that I like better than the new one we bought before we moved here!!! I have since gone back to them to purchase a washer/dryer and appreciated their ""mom and pop"" superior service. When I left, I felt like family.
