Feb-2012 we purchased a higher-end latex core mattress with a 10-year warranty from the McMinnville OR location. The mattress was manufactured by Northwest Bedding Co, At 17 months i noticed the fabric underneath the top mattress was tearing away from the braided seem on both sides. \r
\r
I contacted BedMart and spoke with Aaron Naccarato, who initially sold us the bed. He seemed to believe the bed's warranty would take care of the damage, as we'd done nothing to cause the problem.\r

Two days later Customer Service Robin called me. He began our conversation with. ""Now I'm not accusing you of anything, but..."" So off to a fine start this was. He indicated the fabric used by the manufacturer had been thin, inferior, somewhat delicate. He told me the manufacturer would not cover the problem-this before talking with me or seeing pictures. He was antagonizing and aggressive. He finally conceded and said he would look at the photos, but would not be coming out to examine the product. That fabric tearing, although subpar craftsmanship, did not effect the structure of the bed.\r
\r
My husband and I took our conversation to BedMart, whose solution was we invest $140 in repairs and take our bed to Northwest Bedding Co's Spokane WA office. Repairs would take two weeks, and until we asked, we would be out a bed during that period.\r
\r
The bottom line was this. We paid a lot of money for bed constructed using inferior materials, and neither the manufacturer nor seller will stand by their product. Now, if we keep the bed, we go to sleep every night unhappy about the purchase. We will never buy again from BedMart or any of its sister stores, or product from Northwest Bedding Co. out of Spokane WA.\r
