New vet definitely not friendly 7/18/2019

They recently hired a new lady vet. I took my dog for his annual check up and the vet was really unpleasant. My dog is a rescue and has had a number of issues, plus he is a senior. I have no idea if the vet's behavior was because it is an old dog and a mutt, or what her problem was, but I decided to take my dogs to .... They are kind and prompt and way less expensive there. more

Exellent Veterinarian and Staff 1/28/2011

I cannot say enough about Dr. Belden and his staff. Dr. Belden is very knowledgeable and informative and makes you feel very comfortable. He explains in detail, what he is going to do and why. Dr. Belden clearly loves the animals he cares for and takes the time to get to know you and your pet. You are not rushed in and out like a herd of cattle. Very pleasant and informative staff, that also cares for their animals and make you feel comfortable. THANK YOU. :) Erica R. more

Finally, a vet that sees small animals 9/28/2005

I noticed a growth on my hamster, George, under his chin. I needed a vet that treated small animals and, luckily, New Milford Animal Hospital did just that. The vet was gentle and knowledgeable about small pets. Since there is nowhere else I found that treats these little critters, I recommend using New Milford Animal Hospital. Unfortunately, my visit was $150 just to look at me hamster. A bit exhorbitant. more
