This is a great place to rent equipment to get jobs done around the house for contractors and do it yourselfer. The rental personnel also advise you on the right kind of equipment depending on your task. We rented a huge machine, which will remove dead grass and weeds from the lawn in our neighborhood. Worked pretty well. You can also rent tents, tables, chairs and other party supplies.

You can buy most of your gardening supplies here. This shop caters to most needs of the local community. They have a good vegetable and fruit garden. I found the plants to the fresh and the nursery is well kept. You can get your garden soil, peat moss here. I found shopping here more peaceful... away from the huge crowded places.

I use Layton Co. for my home heating oil. These are some really good, kind people that are great members of New Milford commerce. They have very friendly staff and whenever you go in there you are greeted by a smiling face and warm hello. I highly recommend them.

I spoke with Brian Butts at great length several times about my proposed project to connect to a city sewer line. I later found out that the line had not been constructed yet and was only approved by the city to be built. Brian was great, he walked me through the process and explained the many aspects to the job. I am hopeful the line will be constructed this Spring so I can use Butts Bros excavation.

They have a good selection of light fixtures but I found them to be more expensive than Home Depot or Lowes. But some of their designs are very different. They also carry a wide selection of chandeliers that you do not find in many stores. If prefer to shop locally, it is pretty good.
