The sport center offers number of classes for kids of all ages. Located opposite to Pettibone school ... it is very convenient. They offer aquatics, gymnastics, dance and martial arts classes. Their Planet Play is very good as the kids can pay and use it whenever they want. It is only about $8.00 for the whole day of playing in huge inflatable, sandbox and interacting with other kids. I have always found the place to be full and bubbling with activities. The people at the front desk are very helpful too.

This is a very nice place ... well maintained and very neat. They offer a number of exercise classes and they have a nice swimming pool too. You can get a private session with a instructor at the beginning and they will create a effective workout for personal body types. Many people from the area use this club as it is in the center of town so quite convenient.

This is a public golf course, which is very well maintained, and it situated in a very scenic surrounding. The tee time starts at about 7.00 a.m and you can book in advance for that. $40 per person is pretty reasonable. The rates are cheaper on Wednesday when they have some specials going on. They also have a practice green, which is well kept. They also offer golf lessons.

The New Milford Park and recreation bureau offers number of activities for all ages in summer, fall and winter. The rates for these are very inexpensive compared to many other organizations. I recently enrolled my toddler son for the tumblin tikes class, which is very popular and usually full. It is very good the instructor is very friendly and great with children. They offer classes in cookery, swimming, rock climbing, cave exploration etc

I went to this place to try their mini golf course. It is pretty good and the facility is well maintained. They have ample parking space, which is a good thing. The golf shop meets your basic needs of a golfer but found it pricey than other major retail shops. The setting of the course is beautiful as it has lush hills in the background.

Lore's Lanes is small but clean. It's located in a discreet area -- behind a shopping plaza off Route 7 North -- be careful or you may drive right by it. I bring my own shoes so I don't have commentary on what they rent. Sunday afternoons is great for bowling. It's not too crowded and lanes always seem to be open around 1pm. The snack bar has the typical junk food - French fries, cupcakes. Beer is available, too. I've been to bigger/better/nicer lanes but this has a nice homey feel. You can't expect much more for a town like New Milford.

The shop carries a wide models of bikes in various price ranges. They are certainly most expensive than Wal mart but their quality is very good and the service is excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and help you find the right bike for your need. They also service your bikes and repair old bikes at a nominal charge. The shop has a small town feeling to it and it locally owned and operated.+
