Look no further. New Metropolis has quirky and hip furniture that is just fun to look at. I love browsing through their store, looking at all the beautiful things. Everything is so unique. There are beautiful glasses, home accessories like sushi plates, and even some interesting jewelery...something for everyone. Expect to pay contemporary prices for contemporary items. more

If you're looking for that hip item that is unique and yet found at all the hip and trendy stores then you're at the right spot. This is a perfect place to go in and window shop or buy a fun little gift. They specialize in contemporary furniture and modern designs. There are also many tongue-in-cheek humorous gifts. If you're in need of olive throw cushions this is the place! more

A small bit of city in suburban Orlando/Winter Park 7/11/2005

New Metropolis is a great little chic furniture in the otherwise banal confines of Winter Park Village. Be aware that it's very expensive, but the prices seem right for what they are selling. They have chairs, couches, tables, beds, lamps, etc. If you look hard, though, you'll find a wealth of trinkets you can pick for reasonable prices. You'll find everything from oven mitts to aprons, all of which are unique and fun. more
