Our a/c went out on a Monday afternoon. We called Luis in the late afternoon and he arrived that evening, hooking up emergency air and making sure we were comfortable.
I couldn't be more happy with the deal that A/C Consultant gave us. They installed a 4 ton Trane Heat Pump at a price that was significantly lower than the competition!
The closet he installed in was small- this is an older home. In fact other a/c guys had previously given us bids and told us there were very few systems that would fit in the area.
Luis is a meticulous worker and fit it in carefully and precisely. They did an excellent job and went above and beyond for us.
Without hesitation I would recommend A/C Consultant for any job. They completed a tough job within an extremely reasonable (okay- let's be real I was amazed at the deal he gave us, I couldn't write the check fast enough!) price.

For months I've been admiring J-Rod's art on e-bay but hadn't taken the step to purchase anything yet. Since I had e-mailed him to get on his mailing list, I found out about a super sale he had on a print and thought, 'what do I have to lose?'
I swear it's the fastest shipping ever... 2 days! But beyond the shipping time (yes, instant shopper here just couldn't bear to wait for arrival!) the print was amazing! I just cannot say enough about it. With a wry sense of humor he put together a whimsical satire called "Elastic Martini." As a Florida girl this print speaks miles to me about the Blue Plate Specials as we call 'em down here!
This won't be the last he's heard from me, altho I think I'll buy a few more of his pieces before I plaster his name on the net.
Truly a cool and up-and-coming artist we'll see much more of over the years!
Check out his website www.jrodart.com ; he also has his wife's stuff on the site. I haven't had the pleasure of chatting with Pyper yet but she does some wonderful metal art. Very different from Jarrod's work but still satisfying.
A sweet spot in my heart for this Montana boy's work... may his artwork flourish!

This LMT understand the finesse of Reiki and other energy healing! Her husband is a local acupuncturist so she is well-versed in the world of alternative meds!
Call ahead for an appt with Vicki- it's worth the hassle. You can luck out and find a cancellation but don't count on it!
Vicki's office is calming and she has a private bath to regroup in after the massage.
A treasure in Central Florida! Vicki treated my friend who had cancer and she proved to be not only a top-notch LMT but also a compassionate soul. May her business continue to flourish!

This little treasure is aptly placed in historic downtown Sanford! It's located right on 1st Street and you can't miss it in the evening when you hear the live must and drive past it. They have seating both indoors and outdoors. Indoors tends to be a bit more rowdy on Schunkelabend when the Oompa band rolls out their accordians, harmonicas, drumsets, band saws and spoons! It's a once-in-a-lifetime audience participation nite.
Theo, the owner, also has live outdoor performers who tend to be your Florida Buffet/ Sweet Baby James types. The outdoor eating area is animal friendly- you can ride your bike up and have bowzer sit under your table while you eat!
The Schnitzel is ECHTE GUTE ESSEN! It's the real deal and as someone who's lived in Germany, I can vouch for this place. They have super Apfel Struedel ; desserts are homemade by Theo's wife- don't expect frozen varieties!
Nice import beer and wine selection!
This restaurant also showcases local artists! Ambience is nice and at times romantic. This restaurant is very child friendly and also attends to extreme allergy needs! KUDOS! A gem in our little town!

Worth the drive! This resale shop has nice clean clothes that are in above good to above average condition. Their larger items are quite wonderful, too. The items were fairly priced and the entire store was clean- very important for a resale shop where I will buy stuff for my children.
I had no concerns about sitting on the floor in the book section with my daughter and reading a book. The book section is a little small, but our standards are high- we have several hundred books at home.
Stop by this store- worth it!

Located in Longwood, FL, they are not too far from the hospital or from I-4. This is a family friendly spot that has been around quite a few years.

Beware of the birds- this park can be loads of fun but the birds and squirrels are extremely aggressive. Add in a toddler and there sure to be exciting times! The fountain is the centerpiece of the park and it runs year-round. This is also the home of the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival and numerous Jazz Festivals.
The park sits between Park Avenue- there are so delicious restaurants there- and train tracks- yes, the train still runs!

Yes, that's right, there's a whole room in the back devoted to 70s decor- just like some sort of bad nightmare out of that 70s show!
If you're looking for vintage, goth, 70s, 60s then this is the place. It might be a bit hard to find as there isn't a big sign out front.

This store isn't like the chain stores. They truly, really have a heart!
The well-kept secret of Humanity is that they have a lot of new and almost new building supplies out back that they sell at laughably low prices and anyone can shop with them!
Last time I went to Habitat a gal picked up a new retro look teal bagel toaster and paid around $6 for it! I was able to purchase an unused canvas for painting at less than half the retail.
This is a place you need to hit on a regular basis to see the new stuff!
