food was tasteless, left an undertaste afterwards. atmosphere was cold and unattractive. service was mediocre. wouldn't recommend to anyone, there's too much competition out there. more

Everything is delicious, home made, fresh salads with homemade dressings, even the cucumber was fresh and crispy! Beef barley soup awesome, could have eaten a gallon. Pulled pork, ribs, brisket, smoked turkey sandwhich, all of which I have had, were all tasty, fresh, plentiful, just awesome again. I always get takeout, have not eaten inside, but they are always packed in there. more

If you are going to make salads with no gloves,you might want to keep the kitchen door closed. GROSS!!!!! more

What happened to this place???? It used to be so good? The soup was not edible, and the sandwich was not prepared as stated. Will not go back.....ever!!! more

Went with friends for dinner. Good food, good value and good service. Had been there before and although the food was good and priced well, the service was not so good. This time, the server was attentive and friendly to our large party. Glad we gave it a second chance !! Hope that they can keep the momentum going. Chardon needs good restaurants to keep people coming up to the Square. more

Good: That this is a restaurant that smokes all of it's own meats and creates ALL it's dressings, dips, sauces and side dishes from scratch daily. The staff is very attentive and the history that this place boasts is a warming touch!. Bad: The previous crybaby who said the welcome mat was not out and obviously didn't read the menu showing that sandwiches start at $5.95 ie. an 8oz Angus burger. That the prior people who commented complained that their server seemed hurried, any maybe that because he/she was trying to give them good service.. Improvements: Hmmmmm a bigger bar would be nice! I didn't know till my 5th visit that there is a FULL bar in the back not to mention a tasteful wine list.. Other: I have been taking my family and business associates to this restaurant since I found them and had super dining experiences. Their smoked brisket and pull pork are out of this world. I have become a regular and find myself there at least 3 times a week!! Keep up the great work Tom & staff! Chardon supports you all the way!!!. more

New restaurant on Chardon Square. Went with a friend for lunch. We were greeted with "Two?" No "Welcome to Morgan's Place" etc. Food was average to good, comparable to Friday's or Cleats just down the street on Route 44. Value was fair. Sandwiches with fries were $7.95 and up. Pretty average for the area. Decor is nice with old pics of Chardon. Staff seemed very harried, rushing about although it was not crowded. Waitress may be a friendly person but came across and overwhelmed. Hostess sat us but never "greeted" us. We came to Chardon Square for the afternoon to visit the shops and experience the charms of a small town. Did not find any charm at Morgan's Place. Will give it another try in a few months, if it is still there. more
