STEER CLEAR OF CULVER CITY HONDA!!!\r \r I recently entered into an executed lease agreement on a 2013 Honda Civic LX. The agreement included a trade-in of my 2012 Honda Civic LX. Edwin Coronado, Finance Manager, and I signed the contract. The dealership took possession of my 2012 Honda Civic, and I took delivery of the 2013 Honda Civic LX. Given the executed lease agreement, I left the dealership believing they would process the paperwork and honor the binding agreement. Note my FICO score is 830, and I have no reason to believe that the agreement would be rejected by Honda Financial Services for credit-related reasons. \r \r Much to my dismay and shock, I received a call 10 days later from Edwin Coronado, Finance Manager, and Daniele Martin, General Manager at Culver City Honda. Edwin and Daniele advised me that the dealership had made a ""mistake"" on the lease agreement and demanded that I return to the dealership immediately to sign a new lease agreement. Edwin said nothing would change on the new agreement. Daniele told me my monthly payment would decrease by $3.00 over the phone. However, it turned out to be a $15 reduction when I looked at the proposed lease. Don't be fooled --- this reduction equates to an increase in the down payment!\r \r I asked Daniele to send me a copy of the proposed agreement and was startled to see that the dealership had not made an inadvertent mistake as they had claimed. Instead, they completely changed the numbers of terms of the contract requiring that I now make a downpayment of $600+. Moreover, they post-dated the agreement which would require me to make a $200 monthly payment on the 2012 Honda that they had already put up for sale on their lot! \r \r When I raised these issues and concerns with Edwin, he lied and said he did not have the information of the proposed lease agreement at his disposal,. Even worse, I received a threatning call from Loren Coleman (Finance Director) demanding that I return to the dealership to sign the new agreement without explanation.\r \r Right now, I have turned this matter over to my lawyer to handle. As a lawyer myself, I am astounded that a dealership would renege on a binding agreement. I have filed a complaint to several sources, including the Better Business Bureau. \r \r I would advise everyone to STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. They are scam artists and will con you into believing they will honor the agreement they sign. more

Maybe more donuts in the lobby. But otherwise...Lars did an excellent job explaining the work that was done on the vehicle and then had a great explanation of future service needed. He was friendly and made me feel comfortable about my car and the service required. I would return just based on that...and I hope that everyone is a efficient and kind as Lars was to me. more

WARNING, BEWARE! 11/18/2011

WARNING! BEWARE! MILLER HONDA IS AN UNETHICAL BUSINESS THAT HIDES BEHIND THE HONDA BRAND AS THEY PREY ON THE BLIND TRUST OF UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS. =( I have a 2003 Honda Civic with very low miles. My first experience was great. They gave my car a fast oil change and ""100% clean bill of health"", as was to be expected from a Honda Civic with such low miles. About one month later I came back for another oil change and somehow it magically needed $2000 in repairs to the timing belt, water pump, all fluids, and some rubber thing for the suspension. I had a very bad feeling in my stomach that I was being lied to so I told the employee I was taking it for a second opinion and they warned against that decision. I drove the car for the next 45 days or so until it needed another oil change BUT this time I went to my normal mechanic for an ""inspection"" and didn't tell them about the Honda recommendations just to make sure I was getting an honest assessment. My mechanic did a full inspection and gave it a 100% CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH. None of the issues Miller Honda claimed existed, NONE. And actually, my mechanics even offered to buy my car because it was in near mint condition. I then told my mechanic the story about Miller Honda's recommendations and they told me Miller Honda is notorious for taking advantage of customers by completely lying about issues that do not exist. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. more

My salesperson was able to me the color of vehicle that I wanted which was great on their part. I wish there wasn’t so much paperwork but it wasn’t a deal breaker. more
