Sweet Suite 7/13/2009

We went to the Hotel Nash and to our surprise, got upgraded to the main suite!! the staff was unbelievable and the room was spectacular. 2 stories, overlooking the 3 (multi temp) pools, shower on our outstide private patio. I""m not sure i can afford to ever stay in this room again, but I will def choose this hotel. it was our anniversary and they staff hooked itup for us. thanks Pros: Awesome room, amazing pools Cons: food more

Worst Customer Service 10/1/2006

When I first logged on to view the pictures, I was drawn to the Nash by the three different types of swimming pools advertised. There is no salt water swimming pool nor is there a mineral water one. There are three dirty swimming pools that nobody gets into. I never saw one person in the pool. I had to switch rooms because the air conditioner had a loud noise and I couldn't sleep. The manager at the front desk was extremely nasty and unaccomodating. He was rude and seemed to be angry all the time. I would never stay at the Nash again. Pros: In a good location. Cons: Horrible service. more

Great Place 2/1/2005

The Essex House was a great place to stay. The rooms are groovy, pretty clean & you are close to everything. Just make sure you request NOT to be on the same side as the disco of the hotel next-door. Just an FYI - they give discount parking next door in the parking garage, just show them your room key. Enjoy Pros: Close, Clean, Groovy Cons: Disco next door more

Won't visit again 11/12/2002

My stay at the Nash this past weekend - will unfortunately be my last. Each time I have vacationed in South Beach, I have stayed at the Nash. After not staying in more than a year, it was a disappointment. My reservation was a headache at check-in, the staff was not necessarily friendly, and even getting ice brought to my room was a disaster. The upkeep of the hotel has also gone downhill. As trendy as The Hotel Nash once was - these days I would have to describe it as a disappointment. Pros: valet parking Cons: staff, upkeep, value more

Artsy, Smartsy... 6/13/2002

My experience at the Essex House was indeed rewarding. For a quaint hotel, situated 1 block from Collins, this is a great place. Very small, great staff, affordable and art deco. If you are on a budget but wish to stay in the heart of SOBE, this place is for you!!!!! Pros: Inexpensive, Convenient, Location Cons: Small more
