We had a blast here last week and only wishe we returned here instead of trying another one off Lincoln Road this weekend. The Lobby bar is Low-Key Cool. No posiing, just fun. Everything was neat and clean. Jst cross the street & you've got all the cool cluubs and shops. The staff was pretty cool, too, helping to make our stay even more enjoyable. It's a real gem among a lot of dirty rocks on Souuth Beach

spent 2 nights here and loved it. lots going on. fun lobby bar, great rooftop jacuzzi, stocked mini-bar, nice cd player, bathroom is roomy. so much for so little. we got free tix for clubs, free drinks at happy hour, free breakfast. and the front desk was cheery and helpful. we had a quiet room on the 3rd floor facing the street and it was nice and quiet. fun and relaxing. great place to visit while in sobe.

Blue Door was truly impeccable in almost every way. The location of the restaurant was fantastic, the beautiful interior decor of the Delano hotel, complete with flowing white curtains makes simply entering the restaurant itself a luxuriously stylized event. Blue Door offers both inside and outside seating. The inside seating looked relatively conservative in terms of decorations and set-up whereas the outside seating was truly fantastic. Overlooking the Delano's pool, facing mile-high palm trees and surrounded by the infamous white decor, sitting outside at the Blue Door was one of the best seating arranagements I have experienced at a restaurant. People watching was inevitable as a constant stream of hotel patrons would traverse down to the pool, half a foot from the table at which I sat. Although it is always amusing to stare at strangers, perhaps the tables could have been pushed back a bit farther from the pool-going traffic.
The food itself was great and was quite an ecclectic selection. Their menu was also a testament to the inventiveness of the chef who was able to take two different duck dishes and make them both radically (and deliciously) different on every level. The service was great, friendly and knowledgable waiters who did everything from pairing side dishes to main courses to constantly removing and replacing ashtrays in between courses. There was really never a moment where I felt unattended by the service, and I was dining on a Saturday night at 11:00pm so suffice to say it was packed. The service was nice enough that I left a 30 percent tip.
It needs to be said that, while not cheap, the food was NOT overpriced. There are plenty of restaurants on the beach with far more extravagant prices, worse service and far worse food. I have been to plenty of such restaurants where the prices are through the roof, the waiters have bad attitudes and ultimately I leave feeling robbed and still hungry. This is not such a place, Blue door is worth it!

Before me and some friends made the trip to SoBe we/I investigated a ton of hotels and the b-day girl decided to pick this one. Honestly.. I was very nervous.. I had read some reviews for The Mercury and none of them were good. Actually, almost every review I read about restaurants, hotels and bars/clubs were bad. Let me tell you... The Mercury Resort was a great place to stay for long weekend with girlfriends. We stayed in Penthouse 3 and it ROCKED! The spa on the terrace was great for a late night soaking after a night of living it up in SoBe or enjoyed before getting ready to go out. I would highly recommend this place. If you are coming to SoBe for some club action the Opium Garden is right next door, and if your not in to the club scene there are small bars right within walking distance. For a great dinner also try Barton G.

This is the coolest place I have ever been to! If you're looking for a generic every day hotel then do not stay here. However if you enjoy funky decor and hip people you must check it out. I picked the hotel mainly because of the location and given what I paid I was not expecting having as great an experience as I had. Rooms were super cute and always tidy and the staff here really goes above and beyond. I felt like we were all friends by the time I checked out. I can't wait to go back!
