While its probably rather difficult to procure fresh fish in Ohio, that fact does not excuse the mediocrity of R.J. Snappers. Our entrees (linguine & clam sauce, salmon), though not inedible, lacked panache, originality and distinct tastes. Weve had take away foods with more complicated flavours. The appetiser of crab cake was slightly better, but my companions extraordinarily bland soup tasted as if it had just been poured from a generic can of condensed soup. The wine list was sadly laughable, with only a handful of selections that could not be found on the middle shelf of the local grocery mart. The physical ambience wasfine by the hardly exacting standards of Columbus restaurants. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the surfeit of obnoxious clientele who obviously do not go to many upscale restaurants. (For as mediocre as R.J. Snappers is, I assume it markets itself as upscale.)
