The one star Le's gets from me is because the service when I picked up my food was very prompt and professional. The food on the other hand....rough. I ordered Le's Fried Rice with Chicken & Shrimp because it had a star as one of the most popular dishes. It literally was an absurd amount of white rice with a bag of frozen vegetable chunks that you buy from the grocery store and microwave. Oh, it also had a few chunks of chicken if you dug through the rice (Did not get a single piece of shrimp, even though its marked on my receipt that I ordered it). I still ate it because I had already paid the $9 or so for it, but I have to say it was one of the least flavorful meals I've ever had. After nearly a full bottle (exaggeration) of Sriracha and Sweet Chili Sauce, I was able to finish the meal. I will not be ordering from Le's again. more

Middle of the road Vietnamese, Thai + 2/9/2010

Contrary to some 5 star reviews, I believe Le's (former Pho Pasteur) has gotten worse since it has been sold and renamed. Portions are ""ample"" bordering on huge in the case of Pho. I have a bone to pick with the depth of flavor vs quantity . When I come to Le's, I'm craving a big bowl of pho. I still prefer this location over others in Harvard sq and Atrium mall. The lemonade, fruit shakes, vietnamese coffee are all good and authentic. Back the Pho, the tripe was too chewy and the other cuts were overly fatty/grisly. Le's also offers Thai dishes, in case you want a bit more variety, which are good but nothing wow. Pros: Portions, seating, timing of food Cons: not as good as it used to be more

This is my favorite restaurant in Boston. Delicious, inexpensive, quick & healthy. This is one of those places you can eat at everyday without your wallet getting smaller and your waistline getting thicker. Best Pho in town! Highly recommended! Pros: Cheap & fresh Cons: Parking more

my sister went to wellesley in the 90s, and when she helped me move in when i started at bu in 2000, she told me this was the best pho in town. and till now, i still agree with her. try the green bean shake - so fresh so yum. oh and the jasmine limade is soo good too. oh oh and the shrimp toast and quail appetizers more

Food like home 7/31/2005

I've only been to the Cambridge restaurant, but the Pho reminded me much of the Pho back home in California (where many Vietnamese reside). The summer rolls can hardly be called such (they sucked), but the pho is decent. Pros: Pho Cons: summer rolls more

The food is excellent, almost undescribable. Great food, huge portions, cheap prices and a great place for a group to enjoy themselves. Loud but comfortable. I love trying different places but I'm going back to this one... often. more

The Best of Pho's 4/30/2003

I have been to several of the Pho Pasteur restaurants, and this is by far the best. The portions and value are unmatched. The food is excellent, healthy, and at your table shortly after ordering. Parking can be hard - try the community lot behind Blanchard's on Harvard Ave. Pros: Healthy and Tasty, Inexpensive Cons: Hard to Park more

The food is excellent, especially the Pho, the prices are great and the portions are large. The atmosphere is loud but clean and pleasant. The service ranges from OK to surly, though the dishes usually come out quickly. While V Majestic has more interesting flavors and the new Pho Que Huong (sp?) has a more diverse menu, Pho Pastuer is a solid standby. Don't try parking here--please.
