La Mirage is the right name for this ""salon."" It's a mirage that the owners think they are spa qualilty. This place is a renovated hair salon, trying to be spa. more

Do not go to La Mirage! My friend and I bought Eversave coupons for Shellacs to use before my friend's wedding. When I called to book our appointments the receptionist was very rude. They also only have one manicurist so they said a mani/pedi for two people would take 2-3 hours! Because of this, we decided just to get manicures. When we arrived (5 minutes early) they had just started a manicure. Finally they called my friend over for her manicure FORTY minutes late. My friend, the bride-to-be, requested a french manicure but was told this cannot be done with Shellac nail polish. This is not true at all! At this point, we decided to leave because they were running so late and my friend had a waxing appointment to make later that day. Plus she really wanted a french manicure. The receptionist refused to give us our vouchers back and told us she would mark us down as a ""no shows"" for our appointments. I argued that they cannot keep our unused vouchers because they were so late for our appointments. Her response was ""Haven't you ever had to wait at the doctors office?"" Just when I thought our experience couldn't get any worse, the staff began calling us spoiled and rude. We left and thankfully got our vouchers refunded from Eversave. Judging from the empty salon on a Saturday and the terrible reviews on Yelp, I doubt La Mirage will be in business for much longer. more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. They price themselves as a higher end salon, but are no better than Supercuts. In fact, Supercuts is better. What a mistake to buy a deal for this ""salon"". The people are rude, I have never seen more than 2 people working at a time, and it seems to me they liked the money from the deals, but did not want to provide the service. The facial was good, but it was in a tight, cramped room and the whole time I heard the two other people out there talking loudly. Not very relaxing. It took forever to get another appointment. When they could not provide what I had specifically asked for (um...just for my fingernails and toenails to match) they told me ""no one is going to look at both, its fine"". When I told them this was not acceptable, they made me forfeit my voucher with no service. THEY WERE SO RUDE! more

. I have been a client at La Mirage since early last fall when I used my first Groupon to the salon. I have been back several times and have ALWAYS had the same very positive experience. After having had my haircut at my previous salon for over 20 years, I was very picky in choosing a new salon for my hair care needs. Since starting there, I have only had my hair cut and styled here by Stephanie despite all the Groupons, Eversave, etc online deals out there! And my waxing experience there was perfect as well. If you are looking for a CLEAN salon, a knowledgeable staff and the ability to get some great deals using your online deals for this salon, then by all means give La Mirage a try. I have no affiliation with the salon...only a very satisfied customer! If I never tried new places based on negative reviews, I would certainly have my work cut out for me cutting my own hair, my own waxing and providing my own manis and pedis!!! I DO recommend La Mirage! more

I've had the same haircut for the past 7 years and have wanted to change it for a long time but didn't know what I wanted or what would suite me.. My own stylist could not offer suggestions that seemed interesting to me and I do creative work so I wanted something that said that, but also functional and easy to maintain. A friend of mine had been going to Liliana (the owner) for a long time and I always loved her haircuts, they were always really cool and looked great on her, so when a daily internet deal came up for La Mirage , I bit the bulled and purchased 2 vouchers 1 for me and another for my girlfriend. more

The lady at the front desk is nice. I called for a last minute appointment and wanted my hair cut the same day, she was very patient, not snooty and was able to fit me in. more

I have been trying to find a colorist to meet my expectations since I moved from Chicago four years ago and it has been an ongoing battle. I am incredibly particular with my hair which I belive most women are, however I ventured to Stephanie and recieved the most amazing color! I can't help looking at my hair with a feeling of satisfaction. Finally I have someone I can trust. Stephanie is pleasant as she is a true expert. She takes pride in what she does. I love everything about this place! Diane gives me the best mani-pedi's ever, I could go there everyday of my life and not be sick of it. The staff is amazing and will always treat you with respect. more

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL! A friend and I just got back from there (also had the facial, mani, pedi, and wax from Groupon) and both found the entire experience very unpleasant. All the women there (with the exception of the 2 woman who performed our services) were extremely rude. ESPECIALLY THE OLDER WOMAN/OWNER who answers the phones. She gave us both grief for being THREE MINUTES LATE and told us that we were going to interfere with someone else' appointment (not sure how this could be true, the place was dead). The facial, mani, pedi and wax were average, still a good deal for $69. The worst part was at the end when we tipped the two girls who did our services $20 each, and the owner came over to us and told us they were ""owed"" $30 each. When I pointed out to her that $20 is about a 30% tip, she claimed that the tip is based on what the service is worth, not what we paid?! The fact that the representative from the spa is explaining away negative feedback by claiming that it' from a competitor spa is embarrassing. more

It was really the best Facial I ever had. Lilia is new esthetician in La Mirage and she is already made the name in Arlington; she is very nice, very professional and educated. Facial, home care products and skin care advices - all was wonderful. Very nice and relaxing experience. Will go back again next month. more
