I never write reviews, but this time I had to. I found M.Y. Salon after seeing the great reviews on CitySearch. After visiting this Salon, all I can say is WOW!! My hair came out gorgeous!! I went from brassy copper color hair, to this stunning rich brown, with hazelnut lowlights. I had it colored, cut and styled, and a month later I am still getting compliments! MARIA did my hair and it has never looked better, as if I stepped out of a Newbury Salon for a better price! Even my friends who go to Newbury Salons wanted the name of my hairdresser. There's free parking on Mass Ave and on the side streets, and the salon is very accomodating with their appointments. And Maria does great work and has FABULOUS TASTE!! I explained what I wanted to her, and she gave me something even better than what I had imagined, the color, highlights were perfect. She has become my stylist. Also, my hair is thick and coarse, and hairdressers are unable to blowdry my hair, but MARIA is able to give me the most amazing blowdry ever. And I ALWAYS step out of that salon with stunningly beautiful hair. If I could, I would even post photos of how my hair looks. I am a loyal customer for years to come. This is my salon now, thank you M.Y. Salon.
Pros: Quality Work, Excellent Service, Top of the Line Products.

For many years I have experienced lower muscle back pain. I started seeing Erik about 6 months ago, after my wife (and doctor) suggested I try massage therapy; my back has felt great ever since. I appreciate that Erik approaches massage as medical treatment. He seems clearly invested in my health outcomes.

These women are fantastic! I was a little weary of laser hair removal to begin with but the manager that I met with was informative and she made me feel comfortable. I've had five treatments and about 70% reduction. I admit...I'm addicted. I started with just my bikini and ended up adding my legs and underarms once I saw that the treatments really worked. I would recommend this clinic to anyone that has considered laser, the staff and management is wonderful.

The hair dressers here are great! They are awesome with curly hair too...with plenty of advice on how to maintain the look long after they're finished. The eyebrow shaping with Naanu is also wonderful...she threads the eyebrows, which lasts me a good month at least.

I recently moved to Arlington in July and was seeking a hair stylist and someone to cut my hair for my friend's wedding.
If you don't know Arlington, MA has a ton of hair salons and when I walked by this salon it was the most appealing looking salon. I walked in on a Thursday evening and was able to get an appointment with the owner for that coming Saturday! With the owner of the salon which was pretty awesome.
So I went in on Saturday and I loved every minute of it. They have fresh tea, fresh coffee, and very comfortable chairs to wait in. My wait was not long at all and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the salon Especially the people!
If you want to go somewhere that has an inviting friendly atmosphere, that doesn't cost you a ton of money, go to JR Burke Salon.
PS. Did I mention that they are open 7 days a week and very flexible around your schedule? To me that says it all!

I have belonged to golds gym and only signed up for a year membership, my father became ill and passed away. However they are crooks and keep charging my credit card! The ladies locker room was always a mess! I have belonged to other gyms and have never ever been treated so rude by there personnell. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. As they have been reported to the AG Office. They have no compassion for there members and they are only out for the almight dollar! I have since signed up at another gym in Arlington where I can say that there staff there has been very friendly and helpful!!!!
Pros: Great Classes!
Cons: Poor Customer Service, not very clean

This is a small Salon near Arlington Heights. They do a great haircut but most notably a fantastic eyebrow wax. I have been to many, many salons (expensive ones) this one is the best for eyebrow waxing. Ask for Kim. She is the owner and performs all services and is wonderful.
