Second new car purchased from Jennings and so far I'm quite satisfied with the car even though I've only had it for two days. If anything goes wrong I'm sure that Chris or "Mac" in service will take care of it. I've been dealing with Jennings for over ten years and have yet to be dissapointed with their service. more

Jennings Chevrolet in Glenview Illinois is a tremendous dealership in every way. It begins at the top with outstanding leadership from Pres., Jim Jennings and GM, Jim Walsh. They know how to run a top notch organization and their commitment to excellence is reflected in their staff. I have purchased multiple vehicles from them over the years and I am always treated in a manner which makes me appreciative of their work. They are fair, reponsive, thorough and respectful of my financial parameters. The result is that I always come away with an excellent vehicle at a great price. Furthermore, they make me feel as if they are working on my behalf, which is exactly what is taking place. They want satisfied customers and they are batting 100% with me. Once again, that was my experience this month when purchasing a Malibu. My sales rep, Chris Hallenberg, was superb as was John Schmidt, the Business Mgr. The Service Dept. is equally well run. The company Mission is displayed on the wall throughout the dealership and, in my view, they consistently meet their high expectations. more

Chris Hallenberg is by the far the best salesman and Jennings Chevrolet is the best place to buy a vehicle. Each night we worked with Chris he stayed past hours, and worked with us on different financing options and test drove many vehicles. Chris listen to us on everything we wanted in a new vehicle. Very Pleased 10/12/2010

My wife was looking for a used car 5 years ago, and found a vehicle that fit her needs at Jennings. Adel made us a deal that was outstanding, and we've been pleased with the car ever since. Over the last 5 years, he always remembered and was grateful for our purchase. Very friendly and personable. Last month I was looking for a used car, and found one I almost bought. Remembering Adel, I presented my need to him and told him I was thinking about this car from another dealer. Adel was able to locate a NEW car (Chevrolet HHR) for only slightly more than the 1 year old car I was looking at. I am very pleased with Jennings and Adel, and would not have purchased a new car without his help. more

Truly listened 10/8/2010

I want to take this opportunity to compliment one of your sales associates regarding my car buying experience. On Monday September 27, 2010, I met Peter McDonald. I have physical challenges that require specific needs in choosing a car. Peter was the first car salesman I encountered that truly listened to my needs. Not only did he listen, but also went out of his way to make sure that the car I was choosing met my needs. I use a walker. The car I was interested in purchasing was the Chevy Aveo Hatchback. Peter and I discovered that the walker did not fit in the back without dropping down the back seats. This would not work for me. Peter discovered that a customer had brought his Aveo Sedan in for service. He asked the gentleman if we could see if my walker would fit into the trunk. The customer agreed, so I gave Peter my walker to see if it would fit. He brought it back saying that it would fit, but wanted me to put it into the trunk to make sure that I could do it as well. The next challenge was to find the car in red, and once again, Peter came through. He found the exact car I was looking for. Last night, I was talking with one of my neighbors, and mentioned that I had bought a new car. The neighbor rolled her eyes, and said that she and her husband were in the process of car shopping. I told her that I had the most positive experience in purchasing my car from Peter. I gave her Peter’s business card, and hopefully they will be calling or stopping in to shop. I think what took her by surprise is when I said, “positive experience”. I have had my Cavalier serviced for several years at Jennings Chevrolet, and have always been very happy with the service department. However, this was the first time I have purchased a car from your establishment. Unfortunately, in today’s world, good customer service is the exception rather than the rule. Wonderful experience 10/1/2010

I wanted to let you know that I had one of the most pleasurable experiences purchasing a new car. I have bought other cars in the past and none can compare to the wonderful experience I had at Jennings with Debbie Ress. I love my Malibu, it's a great car with good gas millage and low maintenance. But, the initial purchase and contact with the sales woman was more than I expected. She will not only be my only sales woman but she is the first person I look for when I go get my oil changed and service to my car. Whole experience was very good 9/20/2010

I started looking at new cars in June...due to unexpected personal setbacks and delays, I wasn't able to make a purchase until September. Debbie Ress helped me the whole time. She never gave up on me, and kept in touch with information on availability and pricing on the model I was interested in. She even searched for my favorite colors! When I was finally able to go back in to choose and buy a car, she explained in great detail all options on various models, and I was able to purchase a better model than I had originally considered while staying within my price range (and it's a great color!) Debbie familiarized me with my new car and also hooked-up my bluetooth phone, and registed OnStar for me. Their on-line rep (Alain) was very helpful with my first search and inquiry; and their finance rep (Davis)was also very helpful to assure my car payments would work out. I had previously purchased a car at Jennings (16 years ago) and am very glad I went back this time. My whole experience at Jennings was very good! more

Whenever I have a problem or have a question, I know I can call on Ken in the Service Department to handle it for me. He sets up an appointment and is always right there when I bring the car in.He is friendly, courteous, and always explains everything thoroughly to me. I have been buying parts from you guys since 1998. I with in a year ago had service on my 06 monte carlo SS. It was a Service engine soon light that came on due to the solenoid being bad on the car. I came in late John in service took good care of me and got it fixed all with in the same night. I don't live in the area actually and getting it done in the same night helped a great deal. He kept in touch and we came back out and picked the car back up. Everything was done and the car was even washed for me. more

I told T J Burke that I needed three items fixed. He noted items and had them checked. Each item: heat shield, knocking in steering column, and fuel system serviced, were all repaired in a timely manner to my satisfaction. Mr. Burke told me approximately how much time the repair would take, and offered a loaned car for me to wait at home, until the repair was completed. The repair was done to my complete satisfaction, and the waiting time was not a problem because I waited at home until the repair was finished. more

I had a wonderful sales experience with this dealer. I was referred here through the Costco Auto Program and I couldn't be happier. I do a lot of research online before buying and I knew what I wanted before I walked in the door. I knew how the ordering process would work and I knew exactly how much I should pay. I even gave the salesman several "tester" questions that I knew the answer to to see if he was 1) knowledgeable and 2) honest. He was both, and his communication was great. I wanted to know the status of my car throughout the whole ordering process, and he always responded quickly. Delivery took 8 weeks, 3 of those weeks my order was at status 1100, which means the dealer did not have an allocation. This is the case with most dealers, but the salesperson was straightforward and honest about this fact. The order was picked up by GM for the exact target production week that he said it would when I placed the order. These guys know what they are doing. If you are lucky, you might walk in on a day when they have an allocation and your car could get to you in around a month. Anyway, they told me about the extended warranties that I could buy on the day I picked up my car, and there really wasn't any pressure to buy them as soon as they saw I wasn't interested. This was really a great NO PRESSURE sales experience and if I buy another Chevy, I will definitely buy from this dealership again. They are honest people and they bend over backwards to make their potential customers happy. They are rated A+ with the BBB and it really shows. Btw, I don't work for the dealership. I am actually a very very satisfied customer. My experience could not have been better! more

From the salesperson through to the Finance department they were wonderful. I had gone to 2 other dealerships trying to get a car loan and Jennings made it happen. They made me feel respected and valued. There are no words to describe how great an experience they made this for me and I drove out in my new 2010 car with payments that they made sure would work for me. I am a loyal Jennings customer 8/9/2010

I have been a loyal Jennings customer for 19 years. It started when my '91 Blazer was stolen when I moved back to town after being out of state for 5 years and they put it back together to my satisfaction. After 10 years and 109,000 miles I purchased a 2000 Blazer from Jennings. This Blazer is now 10 years old with 133,000 miles on it and still running. Rarely when I call to make an appointment am I told they are too busy. My Blazer's last visit was for a cooling system problem. I had taken my Dalmatian to the vet and when we got back in, the check gauges light came on and I saw that the temperature gauge was heading towards the red. I called and left a message for Ken Ward, my regular service advisor. I called back later and found out he had already left for the day. I asked to be connected to Rick who used to be my service advisore before he became a manager and explained what was going on. It was too late to get a rental so I had AAA tow it to Jennings because Rick said he would take care of it for me and I knew he would. Unfortunately they were too busy that night to get to it, so the next morning Mack called me to tell me that my radiator was cracked and would need to be replaced. I explained I had walked to work that day because I had no other way to get there and he said the courtesy van would pick me up from work and bring me to Jennings to retrieve my Blazer when it was finished. Luckily, we had set all this up in the morning because there was a big storm that afternoon and the power went out at Jennings. The courtesy van driver came to work and brought me back to Jennings. My vehicle was finished, but the paperwork and charges could not be processed without the power. Mack estimated the amount that would be charged to my card and took my credit card information and said the receipt would be mailed to me later once the power came back up. It was a Friday and I really needed my vehicle for the weekend. The power came back on, Mack called back and said his calculations were off by a penny and then my recei more
