Situated in the old downtown Glenview (the new downtown tends to become the Glen Town Center on Patriot Blvd), the library is pretty small- and the parking is even smaller (hint: park your car in the large parking lot in Viccinos plazza- just across the street from the library-, you'll save a lot of time. In the library parking the time is limited to 2 hours, so if you want to stay more, go to the parking across the street).
The programs they have are nice, the children departmnt, though small, it is nice and always busy. The good news is that the library will move at some point in the future to a new location, in Glen Town Center area.

We went here because there aren't many roller skating locations on the north shore. This roller rink is located in the gym of an old catholic school, but you couldn't tell it from the music - some teenybopper pop, but the DJ started playing some really raunchy rap songs and we eventually had to complain to the management. It was changed, but we felt weird for being the only ones to complain. Maybe it's better at the afternoon times, but the evening shouldn't be unfriendly to kids - that's all that was there, anyhow.

I grew up at this course and it's a good course for all levels. You have your long driving holes and also your short irons. Usually I get a cart and the price if very reasonable with a cart. It's a very relaxing atmosphere and the greens are very well maintained and watered. Most of the time, reserving tee time is not a problem although the weekend can be more difficult. Like most golf courses, plenty of parking.
