Jasper's Giant Hamburgers

I went there today for lunch and it was a terrible experience! I had read a review on this place and it warned me about the unsanitary conditions...but I didn't think it could be that bad so I dared to try it.\r \r I was in search of a place that had giant burgers...you know a big burger patty that is at least 5 to 6 inch in diameter. So I was fooled by the place's name ""Jasper's Giant Hamburgers."" The only thinkg giant about this place was the prices!!! For A ""giant"" hamburger+fries+Small Soda it cost $10.51. The BK Whopper (patty) is larger than the giant burger at Jasper's! \r \r Now. As for the unsanitary conditions. As I was staring up at the menu to figure out what I wanted to order, I could see the neon tubes that surround the menu (above the serving/ordering counter) was...covered with cob webs. In those cob webs were thousands of dead gnats/insects!!! And then when I decided my choice and was ordering, the cook stepped out from behind the grill and was posting something up on the wall, next to the menu. He jumped right on up onto the serving/ordering counter, in his street sneakers, and posted the sign (or what ever it was). He got back down and went about his business of frying my burger. Uh...he didn't bother to wipe down the counter where his sneakers were treading! What kind of behavior is that to have in front of customers!?\r \r So. My advice is to avoid this place at all costs! Its way to expensive (for REGULAR sized burger) and has unsanitary conditions and unhygienic employees! \r \r This Review pretains to the Jasper's Giant hamburgers 4820 Granite Dr Ste 1c, Rocklin, CA 95677\r I hope the other Jaspers' places aren't as bad as this one is!!! I went to Jasper's for the first time - However, what astounded me was the Cook went outside (left the grill unsupervised) to his car to do something, talked to some friends outside, them went back to cooking...mind you- NOT cleaning his hands. The girl who I assumed was the supervior or manager for the night - did the unimaginable. Those same outside friends had a dog. She went outside to talk to them as well (the enitre cooking area left unattended) but she actually pet the dog, and touched just about every things outside. When she came back in she...guess...DID NOT wash her hands. In addition moments later.. those same friends said there goodbyes bringing the dog inside the resturant...and guess.. She petted the dog paws I watched as the dog opened his mouth and her fingers in them..... She DID NOT wash her hands afterwards. Their burgers may not have sickened us...but my family and I will never go back. Someone will eventually get real sick there - They need to be inspected!! Pros: Could not think of any more

OMG it was so good ive had so much fun hanging out there. what great food and great waiters and waitersses. and the chef is amazing!!!!! i give it a 10!!!! more

Jasper's does have good burgers! But, I wasn't impressed with the service or the cleanliness of the resaurant. Next time I will get the burger to go, and eat it in the comfort and cleanliness of my own home. Pros: good burgers Cons: not very tidy, salad bar, poor service more
