We had breakfast here 8/6/07, it was amazing. The wait was about 30 mins, but for a Sunday brunch time it was expected. The menu had so many choices. When our food arrived it was amazing. I couldn't even describe the amount of food you get, it was wonderful. Fresh squeezed OJ and homemade jam. The staff was great. I would have loved it more if we could have eaten outside because the morning was so nice, however I will go again and again, and it recommend it to all those I love. Just a few notes: Take an EMPTY stomach because you will walk away more than satisfied.TRY IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT. A Real Diamond!!!

This was our first sushi place when we moved here 4 years ago. Boy were we thrilled. The HP and Five Star rolls are two all-time favorites. Love the saba with the fresh ginger and lemon. Prices are more affordable then some of the more popular places in town. The staff is always friendly and we love the greeting when we walk in the door.

My family has been dining at Izumi's for a few years now.
I enjoy the rolls and the fresh fish, while my wife and young daughter order
the more traditional teriyaki salmon, shrimp tempura, honey walnut shrimp,
and the crab-stuffed choices.
Jimmy, Steve, Bob, Harry, William and the rest of the crew are very friendly.
In fact, Bob always gives our daughter Japanese bubble gum after dinner!
This restaurant is run by hands-on owners; which really makes a huge difference.
We have tried many sushi locations in our travels (we travel a lot), but none compare
with the taste and freshness of the products served at Izumi in Rocklin.
Pros: The quality, freshness, and presentation of the food.

Though Friday and Saturday nights are very busy, it is the best atmosphere. Mt. Fuji is highly recommended. The sushi bar is smaller than some, but nice, and the selection is great. A wide array of options and tastes as well as creativity. The staff is very pleasant and on top of their service. If you love great food, a meal priced with value in mind and a fun atmosphere for you or a group, I suggest you try Kokyo. You'll yearn to add this into a weekly routine.
Pros: Fast service, excellent food and teppen-yaki tables, great sushi bar
Cons: if you don't plan ahead, the wait on Friday and Saturday night

I love this place! Whenever I come down to Rocklin to shop, I always stop here.
The vegetables are always fresh and crisp on the bar, and they have an awesome selection. I always get the noodles, veggies, and then make my own sauce. Oh, and pineapple!
I love watching them cook up my bowl, and I always burn my tongue because I can never wait until it cools. This is a great place to eat, kids love it, and it's very reasonable.

I had a great time!I met a nice man named Miguel and he suited all our needs.He was the manager and did his best effort.Our food was hot along with the plate,we were sat down,had beverages and chips in 15 minutes and the waitress had a smile.I love the enviroment.It is kid-friendly,good layout and fast.I have to give it out of 5 stars 10.Its that good
