I've eaten Hummer's meat quite a few times and I have never been disappointed! The prices are reasonable and they offer packages that you can get which save you even more money. The meat is tender, fresh, and they offer various kinds of meat. The staff members are friendly and try to make you as happy as possible. Great local butcher shop. more

Great Local Butcher 8/7/2005

I always thought that if I purchased my meat at a butchers that it would cost me a small fortune. Luckily by shopping at Hummer's I realized that wasn't the case. They offer very reasonable prices together with weekly sales. They also have meat packages that you can purchase that even offer better deals. The meat is so much better in color and tenderness. Will never shop at the grocery store for meat again. more

Great Local Butcher 8/1/2005

I recently just started going to this store to purchase my meats, previously I thought it was too expensive to use a butcher shop to purchase meats and such. However, Hummers offers a wide variety of meat packages and you can order those meats packaged any way you wish. Also they allow substitutions in their meat packages. And although the price per pound is a little more expensive than the grocery store, the freshness and quality does not even begin to compare. more
