Hershey Park - Fun and Chocolate together in one place! 8/21/2006

It was fun, fairly reasonable in price, and it had some of the best roller coasters I have ever been on. Lightening Racer was featured on one of those roller coaster shows. Plus, right next door is Chocolate World which is a free tour. It is like a factory tour since they don't do public tours of the real factory anymore. The town itself is also really cute and has a neat history. Milton Hershey actually built the town for his factory workers! The town even smells like chocolate! It would make a great family vacation! I would love to have been able to stay in Hershey Hotel and visited the Chocolate Spa - but we were on a camping budget for that trip. Check it all out online at http://www.hersheypa.com/. more

Hershey Park 4/13/2006

Hershey Park is my favorite amusement park. And honestly, it's not just because I love chocolate. Hershey Park offers a wide variety of rides for the family. I think the roller coasters are the best rides they have. They also have life shows, a zoo, and other things. It also offers hotels, and spas, golf, and camping so it can be a whole vacation for the family. I think it's a great place to be and spend time. It really seems to be "the sweetest place on earth." more

Great fun for the family 1/17/2006

Hershey park is a treat in summer and winter. In winter they have everything all lit up and some of the rides are open. In the summer, there is all the fun of the rides, shops, food, and shows. What a great way to spend a day or an evening. Be sure to ride the super soaker roller coaster! more

A Lovely Family Park 12/28/2005

Enjoy a day at Hershey Park for great fun and a relaxing country setting. We really enjoy Hershey Park. We'll often go there and just walk around and see the sights and smell the chocolate wafting through the air. You can go on a Chocolate tour or just go straight to the park for rides and shows. There's a lot to see and do there. It's a great family destination spot and I highly recommend it. Caution: you will likely end up buying lots of chocolate before you leave this town. I haven't met anyone whose escaped without buying something. It's not a place to visit if you are on a diet!! The park is clean and the employees are delightful. more

Great Park 12/28/2005

i have been to hershey park twice or thrice. i like that place for its rides. i always have fun whenever i go there. they have all kinds of rides for kids and adults... but the last time i went there a ride broke down. luckily no one was hurt, and the people working there took good care of the people who were in the ride. obviously me and my friends didn't sit in it and ofcourse they shut it down. it was just scary though.... overall its a nice place to hang out at and have fun at. accidents happen all the time.... but what is life without a little danger!!!!!! i had fun neverthless.... more

"Sweetest Place on Earth" 11/24/2005

Between the candy themed characters wandering around the park and the smell of chocolate from the nearby hershey's world, you would swear you are in a chocolate dream. The carousel is superb and one of the nicest of any in the area. They have added a number of new rides, including roller coaster (Wildcat), in recent years. The carnival food is tasty and there is no shortage of sweet treats. The rides are wonderful and lines do not seem to be too long. more

Great time! 11/13/2005

This park is great! Lots of rides for Children and adults alike. There are many games and food stands also. Lots of charactors that are dressed up like Hershey's candy. One thing I didn't care for was the $5 parking charge but I guess that's to be expected from a amusement park. more

Amusement Park 10/24/2005

If you're looking for a fun amusement park, this is definitely the place to be. I do think the prices have increased a little high in the past couple of years. If you think you might go to the park more than once a year, it's definitely worth investing in a season pass. Two visits will equal the cost of passes for two days. This is a great place to have company picnics. Your employees can spend the day having fun and going on all the rids and by lunch time everyone can hang out and socialize for a little while. The only thing that bothers me about the park is the lack of shade and the hills within the park. It gets really hard to get around when you're pushing a 20 pound kid in a 20 pound stroller with a 10 pounds of stuff in the bottom of the stroller. more

Should try at least once 10/23/2005

Hershey Park is a must for any family at least one time in the summer. Have some nice water rides, multiple roller coaster and kiddie rides. They have water shows and performing acts during the summer. Park has hills and can be a great strain for people to get around on hot days. Try to buy your tickets before hand to save money. For a family this can be a very expensive day. Parking is very high. Check out the meal tickets they offer to save on your food costs. more

Hershey Park 9/30/2005

My family spent our summer vacation in Pa. and visited Hershey Park. It was a fairly nice park, but not nearly as nice and well-maintained as Disney World or Universal Studios. It feels more like an old fashioned amusement park and could stand TLC. They do have plenty of fun roller coasters and Hershey's Chocolate World next door is fun. Overall, we had a good time but probably won't return since we don't live nearby. more
