Good for families 4/12/2006

This is a friendly and well-kept amusement park. It is a wonderful place for families. The nature of the rides are geared mainly for children, so if you are a thrill seeker this might not be the place for you. I personally prefer wild and wooly roller coaster so I was slightly disappointed with this park. more

My favorite (Chocolate themed!) amusement park! 2/21/2006

Hersheypark is one of my favorite places to go--I've been going there with my family ever since I was a little girl. Now that I'm older and wiser, I return as often as I can to once again experience the wonder that is Hersheypark. A very family friendly place, Hershey has rides for folks of all ages. I particularly like that they have a lot of rides the whole familiy can enjoy at the same time. Beyond the family-friendly rides, they have a good assortment of rollercoasters--both old wooden style and the newer suspension type coasters that always make my adventure-loving brothers happy. My favorite part though--the Chocolate World chocolate-making tour. They even give you a free sample at the end. One more pointer--try the chocolate milkshakes available in the Chocolate World cafeteria--you will NOT be disappointed. more

Great fun in a chocolate wonderland! 10/9/2005

Exciting rollercoasters, water rides like the flume,, games. Lots of things to see like the chocolate factory where Hersheys are made or the beautiful Hershey gardens filled with flowers. Chocolate themed throughout including chocolate lamp posts with chocolate kisses and Hershey characters walk around the park like Mr. Goodbar, Mr. Hershey, etc. You get a small free sample at the end of the chocolate tour and of course, there are tons of chocolate related souvenirs to buy. Bring extra dry clothes so you can change after getting soaked in rides! Easy to spend an entire day here. Fun for the entire family. more

be prepared to pay 9/22/2005

Just like any other amusement park, the admission is pricey, the food is pricey, and you've got to avoid the games and toys for the kids along the way. The good news is there are a ton of roller coasters of all varieties and lots of rides for any age/ability. It's best to go in the evening when the families with little kids have pooped out and there's less waiting in lines. Be careful on especially rainy days when a thunderstorm may pop up. THe rides will be closed and you will not get any refund whatsoever. more

Lots of neat rides 8/30/2005

This is a very nice amusement park with lots of great rides for all ages. Mostly for the young ones though. Teenagers seem to outgrow it more than younger ones. It is a fairly big park and does not have a whole lot of shade so don't go on a real hot day. They also have a great Christmas scene in the winter time with alot of great shops and shows. more

Great Place to Go! 8/30/2005

This park is really good for one time a year kind of thing, but if u go like 4 times in the summer it will get a little boring. Its a great place to take anyone because there are little kid rides and roller coasters. All in All pretty good! more

Best Park I've Been To! 8/25/2005

Hershey Park is one of the best amusement parks I've been too! We go every summer and have a blast! When you first get there it is pretty packed! If you go to the back of the park first you don't have to wait hardly at all for the rides there which is great! That is what we always do! Anyway, the last time I went I had a blast! I'm one of the people who love i mean love roller coasters! The Great Bear is one of the best rides at Hershey Park! Even one year it rained and i still had a blast! The only bad thing there is the food is a little expensive and the lines are a little packed but the longest I had to wait was a hour because I was in line for the Storm Runner which is a new roller coaster at Hershey Park which is pretty cool! All of the rides at Hershey Park are great even for the little youngsters! There is plenty of kiddie rides and plenty of Adult and Teen Rides at Hershey Park! After 5 or 6 the lines shorter so it's much better! One of the lasts rides you should get on is the Wildcat! It gives you back pains sometimes and headaches but it is still fun while "riding" it! Haha! Anyway all of the roller coasters are great! Also the water rides are great too! But the roller soaker is really stupid! Make sure after your done you go to chocolate world and get a free candy bar! (even tho it is tiny)! more

A great place for the kids and adults alike 8/24/2005

hershey park has some great rides in a beautiful setting tickets are pricey but if you go for a whole day its worth it every year they update with a new ride so if you live close its always fun to come and see what additions have been made more

If you're addicted to chocolate... 8/21/2005

Hershey Park is great for anyone obsessed with all things chocolate. Besides standard amusement park rides, like roller coasters, the park has interesting tours of how chocolate is produced. Sampling different chocolates is the best part! The park is great for younger children, but will not have enough thrills to keep teenagers amused. more

Good Fun, Good Chocolate 8/21/2005

Hershey Park is about 1.5 hours from Baltimore and since there’s no amusement park closer, it’s definately worth the drive. There are a lot of roller coasters and water rides. There’s a kid area with rides for the tots and wandering candy character throughout the park. There’s also a performance area with music and variety acts. The best way to see it is make a weekend out of the trip and spend another day seeing the other attractions of Hershey. more

Hershey Park 8/20/2005

They have a good amount of rides that are good for adults and young children alike. It would be nice if they had more water park type rides for in the summertime, but there are still a few. They are usually always adding some type of new ride and updating. The price of admission is a little steep, but it's a good time to be had by all. more

Mmmm Chocolate 8/20/2005

Hershey Park is a park based on the popular chocolate brand, Hershey. The park is balanced between child and adult rides and everything has a chocolate or chocolate bar theme. The rides are about average for a large commercial amusement park, but it is a good way to spend a nice summer day with family or friends. Probably the best part of the place is the Hershey factory tour which is right next door to the park where you can learn about the process they make Hershey Kisses. Overall it's a pretty good place that's not too over-crowded, but doesn't have the caliber of rides as Six Flags Great Adventure. more

Hershey 8/20/2005

If you love chocalate - or even a good time at a Themepark, you have to visit Hersheypark! The rides there are nothing short of breathtaking, and the food there is breathtaking too! If you get bored at the park they have a museum dedicated to Hershey chocolate. A must for any chocoholic. Hersheypark - eat it up! more

Hersheypark - the sweetest park on Earth! 8/16/2005

After visiting other amusements parks (King's Dominion, etc.), I realized that Hersheypark really is the nicest amusement park I have even seen! While the park is very clean and well manicured, the rides offer various thrills and spills! It is choc-full of family type activities, but it is still a place that could serve as a date! While the food and drinks are overpriced, the atmosphere is definitely worth it. Just budget for a pricey day and live it up! It's even better when you stay overnight in one of Hershey's hotels! Enjoy! more

AWESOME!!!!!!! 8/12/2005

Hersheypark is in my opinion the best amusement park around. They have 10 awesome coasters, for the little kids, and the thrill seekers. They don'ot have a little kiddie land, they have kiddie rides scattered around the park for the fmailies that want to please the little kids but want to also go on the big rides too. THey park is one of the cleanest parks out there, and has incredibly nice landscaping. Chocolate world is right over there too, for even more fun! They have many, many rides and attractions, and they are an awesome park! more

Hershey Park! 8/11/2005

No summer in Pennsylvania is complete without the annual pilgrimage to Hershey Park in Hershey, PA. Located in Chocolate Town, USA, Hershey Park offers amusements for all ages! From death-defying roller coasters to the restored carousel at the heart of the park, there's sure to be something please all ages! Hershey continues to add to new attractions each year in an effort to continue attracting the crowds. However, it wouldn't hurt Hershey to spend a little of their new attraction development money on training their employees in the art of customer service, AND in the art of keeping the park clean and well maintained. For the steep price of admission, it's not out of line to expect excellent customer service and cleanliness. Overall a good family outing if you can deal with sometimes surly employees and the occasional grubby bathroom. more

SWEET FUN! 8/9/2005

Hershey Park in Hershey PA is one of the cleanest parks with so much to offer. There are plenty of kiddie rides and many thrill rides as well. Some really cool water rides to keep the family cooled off in the summer. A place worth the money to visti. Parking I believe is $7 and admission is average with other parks. Discounts can be found by buying tickets before entering the park at CVS drugs or at Giant food stores. The kids will love the Hershey bar characters including the Kiss and the Peanut Butter Cup guy. They will wait and allow you to take pictures with your family. The food is costly..and outside food can be brought in discretly, like most parks. more

Family Fun At It's Best 8/6/2005

I went to Hershey Park as a child and remember how much fun I had riding all the scary roller coasters (at that time it was the Comet and Super Dooper Looper) and the eating all the famous Hershey chocolate. Now as an adult, I take my children there and they have as much fun. The park is very clean and family friendly. The prices tend to be on the high side but for the memories that are creates it is well worth it. more

Great fun for the entire family 8/4/2005

Hershey Park is the ultimate amusement park for the chocolate lover to go to. Of course they are a part of the Hershey empire. When you go there, not only do you get to ride fun rides, but you can learn about the chocolate making process, and of course you have to get some chocolate while you’re there. It’s fun for kids, but also fun for adults, since what adult doesn’t like chocolate? more

Wonderful Park 8/4/2005

Hershey Park is an excellent value and find for family fun. A family can do a lot of things and have a lot of fun during a visit there. There are many rides and attractions, and not to mention a tour of the chocolate factory in the admission price. It is a great place for families to go and enjoy a day together! There are rides for kids and adults as well .A day of fun for all! more
