I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I love the location and all the near by attractions. The staff is really friend and dedicated. My room had a great view of the ocean and I loved watching the sun rise over the ocean in the mornings. My room was nice and clean. The hotel have a nice pool and bar in the back of the hotel. The front desk agent was very nice, she let ne stay until 2:00pm on the date of my departure. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and will be back for sure in the summer. more

In walking distance of a lot 10/6/2010

We stayed at the Shelborne for the WMC, couldn’t have been happier. Got into every party at the hotel with no cover charge and had no problems sleeping at night with the loud music downstairs. Only problem we had was that one of the three elevators was not working which was very inconvenient with the amount of people there but everything else was great. In walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit, only had to take taxis from the airport and back. Plan on staying there again when we return to Miami! more

The pool are was clean and the pool attendant was a very nice 8/30/2010

I wanted to take some time off from my busy schedule and needed some time to relax and spend some time with my friends, and I picked the The Shelborne Beach Resort because the last time I stayed there I had a wonderful time. At checking time the front desk agent noticed that I was a repeat guest and upgraded my reservation to an ocean front room. The desk clerk’s name was Ursula and she was very nice to us. TIna the concierge gave us passes to the a couple of night clubs on Washington Ave and made dinner reservations for us at a very nice restaurant on ocean drive. She made sure we had a great night in town that evening and I am very thankful for that. The next morning we relax by the pool and had some cocktails by the bar. The pool are was clean and the pool attendant was a very nice kid and gave us recomendations on were to go to get some good Nicaraguan food in down town. I loved my stay and my oceant front room and I cant wait to take some time off to go back to The Shelborne Beach Resort again. more

You are not directly on the strip but you’re not far from it 8/25/2010

My stay at this hotel was good. The hotel was tidy. I think this is hotel is great for a couple as you are not directly on the strip but you’re not far from it, should you want to party. :) I would stay again. I loved the pool. Also, there is a great restaurant ( Maxine’s) across the street with live entertainment and a lovely ambiance. more

The hotel was nice and the staff was extremely friendly. The staff was also helpful in suggesting places to go and to eat. The pool was gorgeous and the hotel is right on the beach so it is very convenient. The hotel is also close to shopping and outdoor resturants on Lincoln ave all within walking distance. more

I recently stayed at the Shelborne and I was very pleased with the services and amenities. They have a very nice crew working at the front desk, the service was amazing, and I even got an upgrade to an ocean view room. The room was clean and renovated. They beach is right behind the hotel and the water was nice and warm. The hotel pool was very nice and I enjoyed having a few frozen drinks by the pool. I will be returning the hotel and telling all by friends about my stay. more

Rooms are in great shape 8/2/2010

I've stayed here twice. Stop by there just for the architecture. Completely refurbished art deco hotel. Great beachfront property as well as a very inviting outdoor pool area and bar. Rooms are in great shape and decent to good amenities within them. more

Shelborne is an Art- Deco building and almost transports you to another time while remaining totally trendy!!.....The staff was super friendly....check in was a breeze and when they found out it was our anniversary our room was upgraded!! We were in the PH and they had a bottle of wine chilling for us more

It had even more ammenities than we expected!! 7/20/2010

Our trip was perfect!! We found this amazing studio through Craigs list and made great friends with the owner. Everything he told us about the studio was correct. It had even more ammenities than we expected!! The location of the hotel is perfect. We walked everywhere and did not need a car. We took the "GO" shuttle from Ft. Lauderdale airport to the hotel. The Mediterranean restaurant near the corner was excellent. We walked to the convention center just a few blocks away. The hotel pool and hot tub was great. We loved our trip to Florida and would recommend this studio to anyone!! Thanks Jim and family - we were so glad we stayed at your fantastic place!! more

They helped us find the perfect club to celebrate the weekend 7/19/2010

For my cousins bachelorette weekend we decided that South Beach was the perfect destination. We got a two bedroom townhouse that had some astonishing views of the pool. Both bedrooms were clean and spacious with large, comfy beds. The townhouse had a full kitchen, dining area and 2 bathrooms (which with 4 girls was extremely important). The staff at the Shelborne were extremely helpful also. They helped us find the perfect club to celebrate the weekend and were able to arrange bottle service for us. I had called ahead to have some food platters sent up for our arrival. When we got there the food arrived mere minutes later. We got an assortment of sandwhiches and another of fried goodies! Everyone agreed that they were delicious! The beach and pool were great, although we did experience a rainy day. Overall, the Shelborne was truly a great find! more

I rented room 1003 thru vrbo.com and I dealed directly with the owner for my reservation, He was very helpful and courteous, The room was very nice, very clean and had an excellent view to the ocean, Great location and the price very affordable. I sincerely recommend this hotel 100% and I will definitely go back!!! more

Pool area is great. 10/13/2005

I stayed in this hotel for two days with my fiance. First of all, we reserved a ocean front room, but instead had to stay in a smaller room which was not on the oceanfront. However, we had a lot of fun in this hotel especially around pool area. They have a great pool bar where you can spend hours. If you want to pamper yourself for few days and meet with some trendy people, this is the place. more

Great location and great service! 9/4/2005

This hotel is a great place for a beach vacation. The rooms have excellent views. It is located by the mimai beach and it offers many services such as spa,swimming pool and restaurant. The swimming pool is great and so much fun. The seafood in the restaurant are worth trying, even though they are pricey. You definetely get your money's worth in this place. more
