Please avoid autofair ford. They practice deceptive tactics. I received an excellent quote for a 2013 Ford Focus Black on Black Std Transmission from an Autofair competitor. Since Autofair was from the same region I contacted autofair over the internet and asked them if they could beat the quote. I received a reply from Lynda that they could not. Ok fine, but 2 days later I received a call from Lynda that they could beat the quote and come on in. I did not react initially to her request. She kept calling back and was adamant they would beat it and she would not say this just to get me in. She made a point to say they would not ask me to come in for nothing because they knew that would be upsetting and they would never do that. Reluctantly I went in and per Lynda's instructions met Adele the Sales manager. Adele greeted me, looked up a comparable car from their inventory and left. Next n odd looking man walked up and said "do you know the process?". I said no, he then said he was Andrew and he would help us. He looked at the computer and said he would be right back with the car we wanted to see. 5 minutes later I saw him pull up in a silver focus. He came in and said want to drive it. I said its the wrong color I want black and is it a manual? He said no its an automatic. I said thats the wrong car I wanted the black manual they have listed. He checked the computer and said he would go get it and be right back. 10 minutes later I see him wondering about the parking lot looking lost. Long story short 40 minutes later he concludes he cannot find the car, perhaps their inventory list is old. Frustrated I said this is wasting my time, he replies I am wasting his time (obviously Lynda mislead me). I am upset and said ok you don't have the car but you were going tp beat the price, what is your price? He looks at my quote, leaves, then comes back about 5 minutes later and say I have a good quote. Ok Andrew what is your quote (that is going to beat it?) He now quotes me $1700 more than m more

Driven to Tears at Autofair 6/30/2012

I was initially encouraged that Autofair could find a vehicle to meet specific needs and criteria via phone and e-mail by Lynda. She guaranteed that with so many small (hundreds she stated to choose from) SUVs in this price range/budget with low miles that their great staff would get me in a vehicle in no time. She stated that sales staff is highly motivated to work pricing deals being that it is the end of the month. I was hesitant, as it is a 45 min. drive each way to Autofair, but she convinced me that they would meet my needs. She set a time and told me that I would meet with Gus Mayr. Upon arrival Gus introduced me to Mark and left. Mark was unaware of my needs and all the specifics that Lynda and I spoke about, so I filled him in. I asked what was available given my criteria he said he would find out and would be right back-he was gone over 15 min. Mark told me he had 1 SUV for me to consider. The interior was filthy and it was a bit scratched up-He stated he had one other SUV to consider, but it was large/poor gas mileage. I felt rather deflated-traveling such a long distance knowing that I had a certain budget and I was basically given no options, but a dirty vehicle in need of some paint, which may not have been bad had it been cleaned up first, but this would have meant that they had communicated with Lynda and or read her notes about my needs which she had typed in their computer system prior to my arrival, and truly cared/were prepared to service my needs-not the case sadly. Mark made comments about my trade in vehicle's minor areas of rust and also stated that it was ready for the "bone yard". While my car of 10 years is not showroom material it is my car of 10 years and those statements were not needed. Mark must have sensed my disappointment because he left me and returned with Larry Tentarelli a sales manager. Larry appeared to listen to my concerns and suggested that I walk around the lot pointing out other vehicles that I'm interested to in to Mark and he would do his best to work out s more

My salesman Scott Kling made the car buying process smooth and simple. I told him what I was looking to spend and what I wanted in a car and he went to work finding the vehicles he had that fit my needs. I came in looked at a few and no surprises he showed me only cars with my requirements. Drove 2 cars decided which one I wanted and he did all the paperwork no surpsrises there either. I drove home relaxed and satisfied. Great experience more

Very Pleased 2/14/2011

I went to Autofair ford, last month looking for an affordable car for me and my family. I was very stressed when arriving there but when I left I was very pleased thanks to Gustavo Malzoni. I didnt really know much about cars, and all of the safty features that ford offers. Gustavo did a great job sharing his knowledge to me, nevermind his positive attitude. I would refer all my friends and family to go see him. more

Extremely Easy to Work With 2/10/2011

I went into Autofair Ford with little knowledge of what I wanted, not wanting to be forced into buying something I didn't want or need. I was greeted by Scott Kling. He was not only very knowledgeable but extremely easy to work with. I ended up with the perfect truck for me at a price I could more than live with. This is my third lease from this dealership and I have always been satisfied with the lease process as well as service. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile from a young man named Gus. My dad and I went into autofair the other night to find a salesman we had worked with in the past. Since he was no longer there we ended up working with Scott Kling. That turned out to be a blessing. With my father's company negotiating the final price, Scott was left to give us top rate service. He did that and more. more

I have been bringing my vehicle to AutoFair for a few years now and have nothing but praise for the service I have been given. I deal with Jim Savage and he has always bent over backwards and even gone above and beyond. Being a woman and having vehicle issues..I need to trust and know that I am not being sold a "bill of goods". Jim has always done his best to work with me and accommodate my needs. Money is tight for everyone and he always looks for discounts, coupons etc. Every little bit helps and I thank Jim and AutoFair for working with me. The piece of mind I have knowing my vehicle is service by trained mechanics and the additional accomodations made by Jim make an unpleasant situation less stressful. I've purchased many cars and never had such a good experience. I went there having done my homework. I knew the rebates available, I knew the fair market value of my trade-in, I knew the "invoice price" and what type of discount I could get. Perhaps I was lucky and got a great salesman (John Gilmann - ask for him!) He is a straight-shooter - no BS. He treated me fairly, asked what I wanted for a deal. I told him and he came back several hundred dollars lower. I told him "this is my number - do that and we have a deal; one dollar less and I won't waste any more of your or my time". He came back, shook my hand and said we have a deal. It was THAT simple and that courteous. Everyone was fair, no games - I will ALWAYS buy my cars there and I live just south of Boston! I went up there on a lark - they had a car I was interested in but I never expected to buy it there. It was well worth the trip. There was a small issue; an error on the "title". They notarized a corrected copy the next day and JOHN DROVE DOWN TO BOSTON TO HAND DELIVER IT because I needed it right away. more

We've been doing business with Autofair for about 10 years and 5 different vehicles now (leases and purchases) and we would return to them. While some of the sales staff have come and gone, we are satisfied with our dealings at Autofair. We know that when we need competitive pricing and a specific deal, we go back to Autofair.
