Had a great experience with these guys. It started when I really messed up my bushmaster AR while attempting to put it back together after cleaning it. I brought it in, and without question, they accepted the challenge and spent a good amount of time to fix the issue. I knew I had really screwed it up and was prepared to pay the price but when Warren came out from the back with it all fixed, I couldnt have been more excited and appreciative of his time and effort. These guys know what they are doing and more importantly, they reflect what good old fashioned customer service should look like. Thanks a lot to the whole fowlers team. Sincerely, customer for life. more

I recently started shooting. I haven't touched a gun since I was in the Marines and I have little to no knowledge of today's guns. When I stop by to look at a specific pistol, I have to wait for any sales person to help me. I start to ask questions, which identifies me as a newbie, and I get treated like I'm wasting their time. When I ask questions, I get short direct answers. I ask if they can explain that more and they look irritated because I asked a question. I will continue to come into Fowler because you have a good selection of pistols, which is what I'm mostly interested in. However, Fowlers will not be my first choice and I doubt that I would recommend your store to anyone else. more

Great store. Great service 3/9/2012

I had a GREAT experence at Fowlers gun room. After dealing with another sporting goods store down the street from Fowlers and tried to purchase a Ruger 10/22 for a Christmas present for my 13 yr old son, just to find out that the other store was out of stock all over so cal of the Ruger. It was the very first day of their sale and they didnt have any in-stock. What a waste of time. \r \r I then proceeded to Fowlers. Not only did they have the Ruger in stock, but it was the same price as @urners sale price. 2 weeks later i picked up the gun. Fowlers was packed that day, but they still did a great job. Very personable service. \r \r Since then I have puchased 2 guns from Fowlers. Same experience, same great service.\r \r Thanks Fowlers!!!\r Looking forward to seeing you guys again.\r Daryl more

I doublt I will return 2/29/2012

I bought several guns here and had to maneuver myself to get either Omar or John all others acted as if I was begging for something. Christ I spend 2k in there!. One guy refused to acknowledge my proof of residence even though he had just delivered a gun with all the right paper work; and sent me out. The only reason I returned was the selection and my hope they did want to retain my business. In one of my perusing visits the youngest guy there was rude and arrogant maybe he was hoping I knew what he knows about guns. He now is totally obsolete to me. The sale this week is their last chance.... more

Why buy overpriced guns from jerks? 1/22/2012

The sales people think they are doing you a favor by waiting on you so that you can purchased an overpriced firearm.\r \r In short they are jerks.\r \r Let me make this perfectly clear, almost every firearm they sell I can get somewhere else for $100 - $300 less. more

Most guns in California 5/30/2011

Wow. I was not expecting to see the selection they had. From hunting guns to tactical rifles, this place had it all. From the second I walked in I was taken care of. The customer service was great and they new how to answer all my ?'s. Unlike other local gun shops where they dont know any product knowledge... The safes were amazing as well. I'll four sure be back. I guess they have a sister store in westminster called The Stockade i'll have to check out next. Finally found a true gun room in the O.C... Jim... more

The staff was very helpful here and the bike shop next door. Even though I was not buying something, just educating myself, they were both very helpful. Fowlers gets a bad rap on this search page, but, all my gun buddies rave about the place so I went. They were right, so much to look at! I never write reviews, this is my first because they desirved it. more

i've been an off and on customer with fowler's for a number of years now...some sales people, have been up front, and respectful of the customers, others, not so much. it is the nature of the sales business. yes, they should be better at their jobs. but it is what it is, to use that old worn out saying. other gun shops have the same problem with their sales staff as well. if fowler's isn't your cup of tea, and doesn't suit you, then go to another shop and, give 'em your business. as for the prices at fowler's, yes, i'll grant you they are a little high...welcome to overhead, and the cost of doing business in the people's democratic republic of california, where we still have freedom of choice, and can still shop without government mandates...for now. more

Best Gun Store Ever!!! 3/21/2010

I have been around to several stores and none of them ever spent the time with me that they did. I didn't know exactly what I wanted but I asked them and they helped me out a lot more than any other store. I will only buy guns from them and if they are more expensive then it's worth every penny!!!!! Pros: Awesome Staff!! Cons: None!!! more

Best Gun Shop 2/22/2010

Being a business owner, I know how hard it is to please everyone. Some of us need a little more attention than others. I have visited several gun shops where the guys think they're Robocop and give you the worse attitude. The names I will keep private because my point is to defend the honest men that work at Fowlers. I don't intent to put anyone down from the other gun shops that's not what I'm here for. I couldn't believe the bad reviews and negative things being said about Fowler's a place I visit often and get treated with the up most respect. They answer all my questions without making me feel like an amateur. If they don't have it something I need, they order it for me right away. They'll never say ""I don't know"" or ""We don't have it"" like many of the other places I've been too. Pros: Excellent more

Fowler's is the Best 1/21/2010

I appreciate all of the input and services provided by Fowler's. The BEST selection hands down over any other store. May be more costly than other shops, but you get what you pay for, and that my friends is value. Granted, I had felt the initial services I had received were poor, and I wasn't too stoked. They are BUSY! Pros: Great Service and Knoledge Cons: A busy store. Must be a good thing. more

A shop that places no value on their customer 11/24/2009

I have bought two firearms from these guys and they will be my last. The first experience was fairly positive and I decided to go back for the second, despite that they are overpriced as others have mentioned. My second purchase was a rifle for which I wanted some accessories i.e. a sling and rifle case. They were unwilling to lower their already inflated prices for either despite that the rifle I purchased was nearly 1700. Amazing! Anyway, on the advice of others I went to Turner?s Outdoorsman down the street where I purchased my accessories for about 100 lees than Fowlers. I thought that customer loyalty would carry the day at Fowlers and I was wrong. They didn?t care a whit that I was a repeat customer, for them my worth ceased to exist as soon as my purchase was complete. I will never buy another firearm from them again. This place is the worst. My buddies & I can't figure out how they make money if they charge $100 more for their handguns and at least $150 for rifles. Rudest help you will find. Please go here if you want to be treated like crap and pay them to do so. Pros: good selection of overpriced guns Cons: at least $100 over street price. the help sucks more

Large selection. High prices 7/19/2009

Very high prices on both new guns and used guns. Large variety of ammunition. They also have a large selection of reloading supplies. I been told they make a lot of money on used guns. They buy from estate sales or where some poor slobs widow wants to get rid of all the old man's guns. Pros: Large selection of guns and reloading equipment Cons: High prices more
