I have eaten at Fisherman's Quarters in the past and have never experienced any problems until the last time I went there.... I had a friend visiting from St Louis Mo and since she is landlocked, she was craving some seafood. Since Fisherman's was close to my house I decided to take her there for a quick bite. When we arrived, we were faced with the unhappiest employees I have ever seen! No one wore a smile on there face! We were sat at a table next to the employee break room where one of the servers was napping! I found it very tacky. No one seemed to want to claim our table as their own, we had no idea who our server was, so after we received our food, I approached one of the hostesses to request a server. One server said that it wasn't his table and I also noticed him refusing to wait on other tables, when I addressed this to the hostess, he proceeded to jump into our conversation and give me threatening looks. I told him that I would appreciate him taking his negativity elsewhere....
Long story short....the owner came up to talk about the "incident" and then called the "argumentive" server to come apologize to me. The server refused, so then the owner so-called "fired" this guy. It made me so uncomfortable. The owner proceeded to give me some sob story about how he just fired his friend. It was a very unprofessional situation! Well the so called fired server then comes up to me wanting to speak and since I have gone this far into this circus act, I was actually curious what he had to say. He ended up apologizing, I ended up being his therapist on why he was having such a bad day, and he actually ended up paying for our meal because the owner refused to take care of anything or even try to make things right. He has no idea on how to run a business, but he does have a very entertaining circus act going on in his restaurant. The food was mediocre and the SERVICE was the worst ever! I will NOT be back!
