All of the physicians do an excellent job caring for women. Their explanations are clear and thorough. Their judgment seems decisive. Their speech is polite and words are kind. You get the impression they are in medicine for care of the individual. There is a wait at times, but where isn’t there?

Alpha Care's Dr. Scheer is a unique and caring physician. Half the part of being a great doctor is listening to your patients and collaborating with them on a treatment plan. I live in Massachusetts and am traveling to South Carolina to see him. The reason why I'm willing to travel long distances to see him? He is the only doctor in my sphere that hasn't tried to load me up on prescription medications to treat symptoms; instead, he is willing to explore the root of the problem. He has alternative methods and philosophies that are worth testing if you have tried everything else conventional.
Pros: Personable. Will call himself (depending on the question) or will have his staff call you to answer your questions or concerns you may have.
Cons: Has three offices he practices in with different hours, but one is able to get an appointment at either of them.

Located right beside Summerville Medical Center, Dr. Campbell and her nurses are very professional and at the same time, very laid back- treating you like a sibling or like an old friend. This makes a nerve wracking visit to the ob/gyn very relaxing. The office is very clean and comfortable. The only drawback to this practice is the front desk- they are a bit on the rude side, both on the phone and in person.

He is very nice and takes the time to explain anything you might have questions about He is timely in seeing you, my longest wait has been 15 mins! If you are looking for a doctor or a nice change I reccomend this one!

The Publix on Trolley has the best produce in Summerville as far as grocery's go. It is always clean and neat. The employees if they see you looking too long will ask if you need help without you asking them. They are extremely courteous & checkout is fast. I also like Publix becasue they give back to the community and always have some kind of community involement going on. They are clean and good groceries.

My daughter was born at Summerville Medical Center and at first I was not pleased, but it was only because I had a bad nurse. After she left, things got better. Summerville Medical is part of Trident Medical. I liked Summerville because it was small, clean, and not busy! The Maternity Ward is very nice and the nurses are pretty lenient on after hours visitors.

Dr. Mallin is a wonderful doctor who takes her time and listens to the patient. She has wonderful bedside manner and is very thorough. Dr. Mallin takes the time to investigate every avenue before coming up with a solution. I highly recommend her as your family physician.
