Good Not the Best Bowling Alley 11/27/2005

It's a long trip to this bowling alley from King of Prussia, but thats how it is in PA. Unlike Maryland where everything is fairly close by. Anyways, the bowling joint is nice, but it could use a DJ on the weekends, which is missing. The prices tend to be a little high compared to other bowling places. The food service is a little slow as well. The scoring is computerized, but so is every other place. I say buy your own bowling shoes, its a great investment, even if you only plan on doing it once or twice in your life. more

Fun place with a group of friends 10/27/2005

With late night hours, this bowling alley can be a fun place to be with a group of friends... with too few the games go too quickly and that adds up in cost, but with 5-12 people it makes a couple of hours of bowling. There is also an arcade and an eating place/bar attached (you can also order food to eat inside the alley). It's easy to forget this place exists if you live in the area, but when you do, it's usually a pretty fun night. They also offer bumper bowling for kids (where they put bumpers in the gutters so kids always hit a pin) and offer birthday parties and fundraiser group events. more

Facenda 9/4/2005

Facenda-Whitaker Lanes is a pretty fun place to hang out. It's a pretty huge place with 50 bowling lanes. At night, they have laser light bowling, which is really fun. They also have a game room, a bar and grill, and their own pro shop. They even offer babysitting services. You can also have birthday parties there, which was popular when I was a kid. There are also a ton of different bowling leagues if you want to join one. more

facenda bowling alley 8/20/2005

Facenda bowling lanes is a great place to go play a few frames. It’s big, has a bar attached, and even an arcade section where kids can play. On certain nights they have bowling leagues which take up many of the lanes, so be careful on which night you plan on going. They also have midnight bowling and specials on some nights too, you might want to call and ask ahead. more

Bowling Alley for Everyone 8/11/2005

Facenda Whitaker is an alley that keeps up with the times, and it shows. Everything on the property is top of the line - the lanes, games, restaurants, even the bar. They were one of the first in the area to use computerized scoring and have updated the software regularly since. Every kind of bowler kind find a niche there - kids, familes, leagues, people looking for something to do on weekend nights. In fact some people don't even go there to bowl - they go to the restaurant, bar, or gameroom. Check it out! more

Family Bowling or Leagues 7/28/2005

There is a local bowling alley that provides tons of entertainment for younger kids and older folk as well. There are senior citizen leagues, adult day and night leagues and a Saturday league for kids. During the summer there is also a summer league for kids. They have state of the art score keeping computers and the lanes are in pristine condition. There is an awesome game room available where you can play games and earn tickets to cash out for prizes. The restaurant Steppys is also located in the alley. It is a sports bar with pub type food. Although the restaurant has sit down dining available it also has a take out window that leads into the bowling alley for snacking while bowling. This alley has been around the neighborhood for many years and is constantly being updated. It is one of the most modern alleys around more
