Pedaller's Bikes in Lansdale caters to the novice and the expert bikers. You can go in to purchase a new or used bike, get repairs, find add-ons, ask about local trails, etc. The staff are extremely helpful and could tell you about nearly anything you ask. Most of them are locals so they can give advice on the best places to bike! You can get a mountain bike, kids' bike, etc - it's all there. They also have a large catalogue you can look at and order from if a specific bike is not in the store. Highly recommended!

The Lans-Bowl has a very good location, right on main street and next to the YMCA. With that said, it brings in a few customers wih the good spot but that's about all it has going for it. The equipment there frequently malfunctions. The employees are less than friendly. Their prices are also a bit high unless you bowl in the early afternoon. Who does that besides families with little kids? You're better off heading across town to the other alley.

Unfortunately, there is not much to do in Lansdale. Bowling is one of the few things that offers some fun. The Town & Country, though it has seen better days, is the favorite of the 2 alleys in Lansdale. It's slightly larger and the prices are a little better. Also their equipment (such as the scoring computer) is usually working perfectly. You can do family bowling, leagues, or go to the light shows late nights Fridays and Saturdays. Those usually are very crowded so you have to arrive early. You can bring your own shoes or balls, but you still have to pay for your game. Smoking is allowed so if you are sensitive, this might not be a good choice for you. Overall, it's a fun time!

The Lansdale Public Library has undergone a lot of renovations in the past years. Most of which were good and expanded the library itself. They also caught up with the digital age. Computers are available for typing and internet access. They are almost rid of the card catalouge system and you now check your books out digitally. This step makes it much smoother for both the library and the customers. Most of the staff there are friendly and helpful. At night sometimes teenagers can get a little noisy, but they usually keep them under control (or kick them out). The book selection is not as good as some, but for a small town it's pretty good. Only residents of Lansdale can have free access to it's services, though.

Cardinal camera has it all - developing, supplies, repair, workers who know their stuff! Whether you prefer film or digital you can come here with confidence. Their developing center has options of 1 hour, next day, and 2 days. They produce great pictures! Also, if you have a memory card you can bring that in and they will print those as well. There is a photo-editing center where you can scan a photo and clean it up, resize it, and print several copies out. They also work with video cameras, but I have not dealt with that portion of the store. Supplies are in great stock. You can find photo albums, throwaway cameras, picture frames, and a lot more!

For years I lived right around the corner from the Lansdale Florist. They are located right on the corner of Main Street and Valley Forge. Several years ago they underwent a huge expansion to their shop, adding a second level and a beautiful display window for the holiday seasons. You can always tell what time of year it is just by looking at their displays! Their selection and service are good. During high volume times such as prom though they can get pretty busy, so order ahead! And don't be afraid to ask for a special arrangement - they will work with you!

I'm not sure of their exact timing, but I believe the flowers are kept no more than 2 days to ensure the customer gets only the best. They also do wedding and other event flower decorations. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable for those who do not know much about the floral world. If they do not have what you need there, a custom order will be sent out and the flowers will come in a few days. There is also a small seleection of gift balloons, bears, and cards available so you don't have to go anywhere else for those anniversary gifts!

Charles cleaners has been around for quite a while, and you can tell. The laundromat side of the store could use some updating. The washers break down with regularity, and there are only 2 giants to choose from. It can also be quite cramped when there are several people there trying to get their clothes done. On the other side of the store is the cleaners operation. Their customers are pretty satisfied, Charles and his staff do a good job with pressing and cleansing your "Dry Clean Only" items. Overall, it's an ok store. If you're in the neighboorhood go ahead, but there are better options.

The Wash Stop in Lansdale is what a laundry site truly should be - it's clean, large, and has lots of washers and dryers to choose from. All the way from the giant washers that can do your comforters down to the tiny dryers that are good for a few pieces of clothing. The store itself is bright, nicely decoarted - a wonderful change from most laundromats. To pay for the machines you do need to get a cash card, which then stores your money. You swipe the card on the machines whenever you need it. Personally I like this innovation but some people do not. Also, if you're stuck there for a while you can get a tan in the tanning bed! There is also a small area for children to play in. Overall, a great laundromat!

Lansdale Pizza is a small restaurant on Main street in Lansdale. They cater to mostly local businesspeople and people driving by who stop in. The food is only ok - there's nothing special about it. Plus the times when I've gone inside the restaurant (there is no real eat in seating) the place looks dingy and a bit dirty. Honestly it's just not worth your effort - there are many other pizza and American food places in the area that you can choose instead. Choose better for your money!
