Exotic Thai

The food here is good, but not any better than any other thai restaurant around. I was happy with this place because it was close by and they delivered relatively quickly, but they have the worst customer service. The last time I ordered, they got my order wrong, charged me to fix it, and then ended up overcharging me. The overcharge was slight, so I overlooked it and let it go. My boyfriend and I had been craving a good place to eat thai food. We had used citysearch to find local places to eat that were highly rated but the food just didnt compare to this place. A friend recommended this restaurant and I thanked him when I got home. The food here was amazing, it was a real treat that left us soooo satisfied and wanting more. My boyfriend and I have been talking about it all week. We started out with Rote as the appetizer and it was excellent. Then we had very spicy Tom yum kai soup and it was very tasty. Its been hard to find a place that understands the meaning of ""thai spicy"" and this place understood us well. I had Pad thai and it was just perfect and my boyfriend had chicken with yellow curry and he loved it. We are both craving it every day. I dont usually leave reviews but I just had to, nor to I go to Burbank (I live in Sherman Oaks) to eat but it was well worth it and I will probably make this a weekly visit. The ambience was pretty nice and the food presentation one of the best I've seen in Thai restaurants. The food was fairly good, though some dishes were either too sweet or too salty. (Thier chicken salad which comes with the peanut sauce is really good! Oh, and their Roti with the curry is pretty good too). Service is great and very friendly. went here for the first time last week...order some food to go....i am not a huge fan of the thai food ...but this place was really good...would go back for sure Update -01/03/10 I love this place now, eat here all the time. This is our favorite Burbank Restaurant. We go here for special occasions and for no occasion at all. Just going there makes it a special occasion. The Tom Kha Kai (coconut checken soup with mushrooms) is amazing and not too spicy. Get the large which comes to the table in a heated server. We have to order it each time we go. ""It's the law"". The service is so friendly and gracious. Not intrusive at all. Yes it IS in a mini-mall but you forget it the minute you enter the door. Run, don't walk to Exotic Thai! They have the best Filet of Sole!!! you can either have it mild or spicy. Been to a lot of Thai Places, and I can tell you that this place rocks!!! Pros: Good Food more
