Just got my nose pierced here by Colin--seriously the best piercing experience I have had (I have 8 piercings). I recommend him more than anyone I have been to. He was really down to earth and easy to get along with, and he definitely knew what he was doing. Super thorough with the sterilization process. The receptionist was great too! Loved it, can't wait to go back! more

First of all theyre deff over priced, only time worth getting pierced here is on a thursday for the by one get one. I would go to dogg house(fatlip) and get 2 piercings for the same price as their one. And when i got my septum done here, they pierced it crooked as hell, and were just total choads. i deff wont be back to evolved..and the priced of their jelwery is crazy to...$32 for a internally threaded lip stud. more

Bad piercing experience. I got my tongue pierced at the Evolved piercing shop. I got little to no instruction on what to expect/how to take care of it. I left with a pamphlet and mouthwash that was not included in the price of the piercing. (Which was already overpriced.) The piercer was not very friendly. My tongue got so swollen that the jewelry almost sunk completely into it, because the bars on the end of the barbell were so small. The piercing jewelry was bad, and was about 1/4"" shorter than the one my friend got his tongue pierced with. This is probably why (big surprise) it was too small for the amount of swelling I went through. Plus the small balls made it very painful. It took a week or two longer than it should have to heal. I took out the jewelry and discovered it was no longer than a regular sized tongue ring but with smaller balls. more

I got my tattoo done by Oliver. He is kind of hard to get an appointment with because he travels between Ohio and Chicago because he is highly sought after, but he is WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!! He explains things each step of the way and patiently applies the tattoo at a pace that I could tolerate. He is very professional and considerate of one's anxiety. I highly recommend Oliver at Evolved. He is an incredible artist!!!!!!! Pros: Fantastic tattoo artists Cons: Have to wait for an appointment more

Overpriced Piercings, the won't pierce a 16g (average eyebrow and bridge ring size) and they said my ears were ""too tiny"" for a 14g industrial. Went to another shop afterwards and they said there is no such thing as 18g industrial bars unless they are custom made. My friend has smaller ears than I and got a 14g. I'm pissed. Said it would be 57 dollars, ended up being 69 with a little baggy of salt as aftercare, i tipped, and they STILL overcharged me 5 bucks. Never Again!!! That, and they said that I should NOT use Epson Salt to clean my piercing, but sea salt is okay? Its the same friggin thing for the most part! Take the 2.5 hour trip, go to Hammers up in North Canton, Evolved piercing sucks. Pros: Clean place Cons: Idiot piercers more

All of the artists I've encountered from here have a ""holier then thou"" attitude and they talk to you like you're stupid. I've had two bad piercings from here. One I was able to fix the other I had to take out and get redone. I've had other piercings before and as bad as those were it couldn't have just been negligence on my part. After those two bad piercings I never went back but I don't hear good things about their tattoos either. Plus the prices are ridiculous...$60 for an eyebrow piercing I got done for $35 the second time and that's with jewelry. If you want a better job done cheaper go to Fat Lip Tattoo. It's a fairly new shop but they've been in the business for a long time and they do the job right and are happy to help if you have any problems. more

When I first looked into body piercings, Evolved seemed like a good place to start. I live on OSU's campus, so it was very convenient, and I had heard that it was reputable and what I was most concerned about, clean. Pros: Convienient Cons: Poor service and skill more

Every time I walk into Evolved I want to get more and more piercings! Their jewelry selection is the best I have ever seen in a shop. The atmosphere of Evolved is very friendly and clean as well. I even brought my mom in for her first tattoo! Thanks Evolved! more

To start off, I have one tattoo from Anna Banana and ummm let's count... 9 piercings from various artists at Evolved. I will be the first to admit that the what makes a good piercing is first the piercing him or herself but more importantly, the aftercare. I have messed up some of my piercings and had to go back in for help. They were more than happy to help me. Evolved is made up of some of the best tattoo artists and piercers. I have yet to meet someone who has had a bad piercing or tattoo based on what the artist did to them. Maybe a bit lazy on their part with the cleaning like me, but never the fault of the great artists at Evolved. Pros: Love their craft, Dolls Of Evolved, Hot Models on the walls, Cons: Parking is kind of crappy, but they can't help it. more

My husband was looking to get his first tattoo and me my second. We have heard good things about Evolved from friends, so after doing some research on Evolved and other shops in Columbus, we decided to check out Evolved, and ""Andy"" in particular as my hubby liked his work displayed online. We were treated well when entering, but when my hubby asked to speak with Andy directly, he was short and abrupt with him. Told him to come back with his design or email it to him. Went home and hubby emailed design and message to Andy requesting an appointment for the work. Never received a response. Hubby called, talked to Andy, Andy told him to come in to the shop. We went to the shop and Andy once again gave us the runaround and actually told my hubby and I to contact another one of Evolved's artists to do the work. By this time we were starting to take the obvious hint from him that he didn't want to work on us. That very same day, we went to The Columbus Tattoo Co. and had our tattoos done and we are so happy with the work! We've already passed our displeasure along to a couple of friends and will continue to do so. Very, very unprofessional. more

This place has some great tattoo artists, piercers are horrible. My gf got 2 bad piercings here, and 1 awesome tattoo from Andy Ringo. I have gotten 2 tattoos here, and they are both awesome. I recommend them for tattoos, but go to the custom shop just north of their ""piercing salon"" and watch out for their ""better than thou"" attitudes.
