The Everhart Museum, conveniently located at Nay Aug Park in Scranton, is a lovely little museum. They have some very nice exhibits, and are very open to school, scout, and homeschool group visits -- they will even host birthday parties if there is an art lover that would enjoy having a party there. They also have a wine tasting fund raiser each year for those who enjoy art and wine tastings. If you are an art lover or just looking for something to do in the area, check out the local museum -- you won't be disappointed! more

Everhart Museum 8/16/2005

If you're visiting NEPA, you should really check out the Everhart Museum, especially when they have special events. Sadly, if you are from the area, you've probably already been here and it doesn't change that much. Also, compared to some other art galleries I've been to, this one isn't on the top tier. Still, I recommend going at least once, even if it's just for the charity events they hold. more
