Free is Good! 4/17/2006

You can't go wrong taking a free tour of chocolate factory, not only was it interesting and fun you got a free sample of chocolate while you were on the tour and another free sample when you went into the store. The chocolate was delicious and the store was filled with all kinds of treats. Outside there is a cactus garden that was decorated with lights- it was so pretty! more

free and great 9/16/2005

This free factory is great just because it's free. Although there is so much more going for it other than that. You get to see how the candy is actually made which is interesting. When you leave you get a free sample of the great stuff also. If you want more it will cost you $32. A pound. There is a really nice garden area outside that has several flowers and cacti. I will be back every time out of towners come to visit. more

Ethel M Chocolate Factory has so much to offer. When you arrive you will find a beautiful cactus garden. During the Christmas holiday season, you will find it beautifully decorated with lights. They have a gift shop where you can buy cactus, souvenirs, etc. You can take a mini tour of the chocolate factory, receive a few free samples, and then end in the chocolate shop. You can't ask for anything better! more

Fun Tour!! 8/17/2005

This is a great place to tour near Vegas. It is a fully functional chocolate factory. On the tour you look in and see the workers making chocolates as you watch a series of videos explaining what they are doing. It is really interesting to see. Also, it's a great place to take kids. At the end of the tour, everyone gets to choose a free chocolate to sample. Outside there is a wonderful botanical garden to walk around as well. Best of all, everything is FREE more

Fun Tour... 8/10/2005

We toured this Chocolate Factory and had a great little lesson about making chocolate. The tour was very interesting and fun, but you do not get to taste a lot of different chocolates. They let you have one piece when you leave. They have a nice discount store where you can buy different candies, but they are still a little more expensive than you would think. more

At the Ethel M Chocolate Factory you can take a tour of the plant and you can see how these yummy chocolates are made. You have to go early in the day if you really want to see what they do there. And at the end of the tour you get a free sample of your choice. Then as you leave check out the cactus garden. They have this living machine thing that filters the plants water to water their cactus garden. Its pretty interesting. And its FREE! more
