I travel to Vegas More then 12 times a year, when I stay at the GVR I never feel the need to leave. Every Need can be met the Gambling, the Dining, and of course the High quality rest relaxation and entertainment. Beds are some of the nicest in town the staff subtle and hard working. Accommodations Hip, functional, nice most importantly clean. The resort is maintained beautifully, the Pool and Adult Only Pool are second to none. Weekends are Set-up to party at the whiskey Saturday night drinks at the adult pool till 11 and doing it again in the morning. Walking distance to shopping, Room Service friendly Great Off Strip Experience relaxing or exciting as you want it to be. All Ages Mostly 18-45 Core Party People range 21-40 all getting along great. Enjoy your time don?t forget a massage!
Pros: Off Strip, Clean, New, High Class, Ambience, Parking, And Wonderful Staff
Cons: Off-Strip if that's a problem you need help.

Ritz is a great property and well worth the dough. Bartender is about as lively as a piece of cardboard. Not sure what happened the gal with the dust and urine but these guys are on their game.
No food at the bar in the morning and you have to go downstairs to the restaurant. Not cool for people working. Need some bigger selections at the bar in the AM. How about some european breakfast?

I love The Pass because of their small town attitude! They always great me with a big Hi, how are you doing, How have you been. It makes me feel like the staff really cares.
I enjoy the food in all their restaurants and though some may tear down the buffet, - a buffet is a buffet and for the price you can't beat it.
All the servers are also friendly and do a great job. I think the machines are like any casino - you win some, you loose some, but I would rather 'donate' where people appreciate me and when I win - so much the better!

This is a great bowling alley in Henderson. It has a good amount of lanes. Like everywhere else near Vegas, there are lots of slot machines, so the constant ringing of the machines can get annoying. Also, there is lots of smoking at this alley, so if you go, expect to come out reeking of smoke. If you can bear those disadvantages, this is a great place to bowl.

What a beautiful resort. While it's quite expensive for the average Los Vegas vacationer, it's well worth the price for the extravagent spender. With a nice little bar, and a more quiet atmostphere to the casino, it's a cozy resort a little ways off the strip. And check out the opium beds while youre there. Giant cubes you can lay in outside and just watch TV. It's LOVELY.

The Sunset Station Hotel & Casino located in Henderson, NV is just 12 miles from the las vegas strip. It is a good choice if you dont want to stay in the busy city. The rooms are really nice, they have just been remodeled and the restraunts in the Casino are really good. They just added a state of the art bowling alley too. 72 lanes of pure fun.

The Lake Mead Lounge and Casino in Henderson, on the way to the Lake, is a fun destination for locals. Although somewhat homey, not a bit glitzy, the staff and bartenders make this a warm, comfortable place to enjoy your favorite drink, games and BEST OF ALL, the cheap food prices. The bar menu is not extensive but includes Wings, pizza, tacos, sausage and chips. The half pound HOT DOG at 99 cents is well worth the trip to this nice little local spot. The restaurant is small but adequete, with freindly servers and some really good cooks.
