Ethel M Chocolate Factory has so much to offer. When you arrive you will find a beautiful cactus garden. During the Christmas holiday season, you will find it beautifully decorated with lights. They have a gift shop where you can buy cactus, souvenirs, etc. You can take a mini tour of the chocolate factory, receive a few free samples, and then end in the chocolate shop. You can't ask for anything better!

24 Hour Fitness is a nice place to work out if you are interested in lifting weights, cardiovascular workout, or taking classes. They offer a variety of classes like step, pilates, kick boxing, and many more. This facility does not offer a swimming pool or indoor track though. Their equipment is kept up well and the staff is very helpful.

This is a great bowling alley in Henderson. It has a good amount of lanes. Like everywhere else near Vegas, there are lots of slot machines, so the constant ringing of the machines can get annoying. Also, there is lots of smoking at this alley, so if you go, expect to come out reeking of smoke. If you can bear those disadvantages, this is a great place to bowl.

Michael Fatali has produced some of the greatest photographs of natural wonders that I have ever seen. His use of the camera to alter the lighting in the photos is excellent. Somehow he captures the water in a way that makes it appear to jump out of the page. The artist is usually wandering around the gallery and is always willing to chat with you, but will never tell where the photographs were taken. His photos are of natural wonders in the southwest United States, mainly Utah. You have to see it to believe it.

Ready for a movie? Grab a friend and some money and head for this theater. Excellent and comfortable seating, but snack bar is very expensive. The drinks and popcorn will run you the same price as a dinner. So I recommend you go and enjoy the movie and save your money and have a nice dinner afterwards and make a complete evening out of your event.

This was something we did while we were in Las Vegas on a summer trip. This was a neat place as we got a tour of them showing us how all the chocolates were made. They showed how to make the ones with filling and all the great chocolates we love at valentines day. The best part was we got to taste some different kinds when the tour was over.

The newest idea in video rentals is called Redbox. They have a vending machine at McDonald's and some grocery stores that you select a video to rent and use a credit card to pay for the rental. The charge is only $1.00 for a 7 p.m. to 7 p.m. rental, if you keep the video more than 1 day they will charge you another $1.00 for each 23 hour period. It is a very popular rental and you cannot always find the specific movie your looking for, but I always find something I would like to see. The movies are updated in the machine each Tuesday. They have a website where you can see what movies are available each week. Our machine is in our grocery store, so it makes it very convenient to get groceries and then get a movie on our way out the door.
