Order the appetizer sampler, a big bowl of made-at-your table guacamole (this they do well) and a few margaritas and soak in the Southern California marina scene. You will have a pleasant experience.
As for the rest of their food... standard chain food. Gringo Mexican, California-style. Don't let the fact that there's a wait make you think the food will be better than it really is.
