Drw Transmission & Auto Care

I have an odd car, it's a Jag with a Chevy engine and transmission. I couldn't get it to run quite right to begin with, the transmission was bad, so I took it to DRW Transmission & Auto Care. They did a good job and talked me through what I needed to do myself. I was happy with them. That was about 9 years ago. I still have that car, and I take many things to them. I have taken my wife's car and a couple of trucks there. DRW Transmission always did a good job. They do really good work. Especially on transmission work they are very good, but they can do anything they say they can do. The service is excellent. They do a good job. If there is something not quite right, like an intermittent problem that is hard to track down, they will do it again until it is right. The last job they did for me was an AC job. AC work really separates the men from the boys as far as mechanics are concerned. They did a good job. more

I took my car in to be looked at as I was told it needed a work and they took the time to check out eveything and gave me a very good estimate on the work to be done. Much cheaper than the shop that originally told me I had problems. I will go back to them for the repairs and recommend them to all my family and friends, thats the way business should be done. I was very impressed with there service. more

We have been dedicated DRW Transmission customers since they the shop opened in 1993. We have always been extremely satisfied with their service. We have consistently recommended DRW our friends, family and co-workers. Anyone we have referred to DRW has been thoroughly satisfied. All of their employees are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and always treat you like one of the DRW family. Recently, the transmission in our 1995 Dodge Caravan failed 2.5 years after being rebuilt by DRW. Wayne Madsen, the manager of DRW, had the vehicle towed to the shop where the transmission was removed and disassembled. Upon inspection, a factory weld was found to have failed on a major part. Wayne Madsen and Don Wang, the owner of DRW, made the decision to replace the part and rebuild the transmission at no cost to us. We could not ask for more dedication and loyalty from an auto repair garage. more

HAD AN AWEFUL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. FAULTY WORK DONE HAD TO HAVE DEALERSHIP FIX ISSUES, THEN FOUND OUT THAT THE DAMAGE WAS VERY BAD. IF THE ISSUE WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME, THEN THE ENGINE WOULD NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED. AWEFUL DISRESPECTFUL PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. WILL NEVER EVER RECCOMMEND THEM! RESPONSE FROM DRW Transmission & Auto Care: Mr. Blue had a few issues crop up after we did some repair to his vehicle. When he brought up the first problem, an electrical problem, we wanted to refer the car to a very good, and well known auto electrical shop we frequently use when tough electrical problems arise. The customer refused our recommendation and took the car elsewhere to be looked at. The problem turned out to be unrelated to the repairs we did. The time that the second problem was brought to our attention, we tried to have the customer drop off the car with us so we could determine whether the problem was related to our repair. Either way, we were eager to help with his problem. We take possible warranty work very seriously. The customer refused to bring the car to us for whatever unknown reason. After taking the car to the dealership and having them try to sell him a complete engine, the customer involved the BAR. The BAR examined the situation and found in our favor. The customer then took us to court. The judge also found in our favor over the situation. It is still a mystery to us at the shop as to why this customer simply didn't bring the car back to us so we could manage the problem for him. If the problem had truly turned out to be related to the work we did for him, he would be back on the road with his car a happy camper. From what I understand, and this is what he told the judge, the car has been towed back to his house where it presently sits after being torn apart by the dealership. This customer has been unreasonable, spiteful, and certainly hateful towards our company. Again, the reason is still a mystery to us. Regardless, throughout this whole ordeal, we hold no ill feelings towards this gentleman, and have never taken back our sincere offer to help him out with his situation. -Donnie Wang more

When you can find an Auto repair shop you can truly trust, it makes owning a vehicle a lot more enjoyable.No matter what the problem,it is always met with a courteous and professional manner.If something needs to be rechecked,which is rare,it is never questioned.Wayne just says come in.The staff is amazing and the mechanics are true professionals. more

I would highly recommend DRW for all your auto repair needs. They have been wonderful with my son and I. They truly go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Now that I have them I can't imagine going anywhere else. more
