I was recently referred to this salon by a co-worker after having a terrible experience at another salon. I'm so happy I finally listened and went here. April did an amazing job fixing the previous color mess and I left feeling absolutely beautiful. She far exceeded my expectation given what I can in with. I am now a client for life! more

I had the WORST experence here ever. First off, the woman that did my hairs name was Serena, STAY AWAY FROM HER. I have very long beautiful dark hair, I went in to get chuncky blonde full foil and hair cut. the hair cut was decent. although she seemed rushed. my hair color on the other hand is horrible. I came home from the salon and looked at it in the mirror and just cried. I am completely devistated. It is gray and orange. I honestly don't know what I am going to do. and to top it off, my brand new $50 Sweater I was wearing she got bleach running down the back and I will never be able to wear that again. I am beyond upset. Today I will be calling and someone at this salon better be doing something about this horrible service. more

well the shop is great, theres always something to watch the hair stylist do great, it's just one problem. The main barber Joe. He recently cut my hair and when i got home i realized that my line was crooked and uneven. He really doesn't pay attention to what you want and always gives his opinion no matter what. Now if i am paying to get my haircut i want it to look nice. Don't get me wrong he's a good barber it's just the little. And he needs to stop talking on the phone while cutting and pay attention to what he's doing. more

I normally see a stylist in Belltown at a very trendy and hip salon. You know the kind that offers wine, lemon or orange water, or tea during your service. I love the pampering but hate the prices. During my recent maternity leave, I didn't want to go into the city for a hair appointment. I decided to follow up on an Evening Magazine - The Best Recommendation for a salon/barber shop in Kent. I went in to see April to have my hair flat ironed. She did an excellent job, perhaps better than my normal stylist. In addition, I wasn't paying for downtown overhead. I have continued to see her and recently booked standing appointments. She is quick, friendly and my husband has commented that my hair looks really good these days. One of the things that I like about this salon is that they cater to ALL hair types. While the salon stylist are Caucasian females, they are very comfortable with ethnic hair. The other stylist, Kelli, has braided my daughter's hair into cute styles very quickly, which has made my life much easier. more
