I called this salon because it is on my way to work. I got in the next day for a haircut with a stylist (I won't name names, maybe everyone has a bad day?). She didn't really list...

Love Cody and Company. I discovered it about a year ago when I was driving around Tosa. And being all about Aveda it works for me. The best part is I can go to anyone at anytime and get great service AND love my hair. I'm not very flexible so it works out great for me to be able to jump around. They're all great and I now have my boyfriend loving it there too. more

I would NEVER recommend this place to 3/8/2012

I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! I paid $45 for a 15 minute haircut. It was like I was on a factory line - she rushed me in and out. I didn't get the standard scalp massage (from Aveda Salon's), I asked her to do two different things to my hair that she didn't do - I asked again, and she rushed through it - still not really doing it. I would NOT spend the money here! more

Absolutely wonderful experiencesssssssssssss 9/16/2011

I've been going to Cody and Company for many years and absolutely love it. The key word to last post was 'estimate'. Not to belittle your situation- but it's always difficult giving an 'estimate' over the phone. Until you're actually sitting in the chair there's no way of telling exactly what you may need. There are so many variables involved. And why would you need to call and let them know about the streaks? Wouldn't you have told them about them before you left? A nd then when you did call you were told 'there was nothing they could do""?? I find that very hard to believe. They have always been nothing short of excellent with their customer service. I've been there enough to know what is customary and what is not. But I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. And thanks to Ellie!! I continue to love my hair!!! more

Absolutely terrible experience 7/30/2011

Beyond upset. I called ahead of time and got an estimate on the price. Seemed reasonable so I made an appointment and went to get my hair highlighted. After two hours and no mentioning of any extra charges, my total ended up being 30 dollars more than I was told. On top of that, my hair turned out streaky and less than satisfactory. When I called to ask for them to fix it, they told me there was nothing they could do and were quite rude. I will never go here again. Their customer service is terrible and they lack communication with their clients. I am now left with streaky, yellow hair, and I am out 110 dollars because of it. more

Best Place EVER! 11/21/2008

3 years ago I moved away from the area and I tried three different salons closer to me. When I found out my previous (and favorite!) hairdresser was now working at Cody & Co I IMMEDIATELY called and setup an apointment. This place is SO worth it that I drive an hour each way just to get my hair done!! Pros: Service more

Great Place! 11/14/2008

I've been going here for several years now and still love it! My husband started going here about a year ago and is 'hooked' as well. He really enjoys the men's room with the complimentary beer (maybe it's the beer he really loves!) Pros: Always makes me feel welcome. Cons: Sometimes hard to get in, but I guess that's a good thing. more

Awesome! 11/6/2008

I was tired of feeling like I got ripped off everytime I went to my salon so I tried something new today. Just had to rave about it!!! I tried Cody and Company (had Maquel) and just loved it! What a great place! Can't say enough. I've lived in the Wauwatosa area for awhile now and regret not making a change sooner. Thanks Maquel! Pros: great atmosphere and wonderful place Cons: can't think of a one! more

Great Service and Great Atmosphere!!! 9/23/2008

I was recently referred to Cody and Company by a co-worker and just LOVED IT!! Everything made me feel so comfortable. From the salon itself, which is in a house (!), to my 'new' stylist, I just love it! I've tried many Aveda salons in the Milwaukee area, many of which were stuffy and kind of snobby. But not Cody and Company. I highly recommend it! Pros: Atmosphere, free parking, great staff, friendly! Cons: Can be hard to get in - but so worth it! more

Eh haircut 8/10/2008

I called this salon because it is on my way to work. I got in the next day for a haircut with a stylist (I won't name names, maybe everyone has a bad day?). She didn't really listen to what I wanted and I ended up with a haircut that looked fine, but it was not what I wanted. I didn't feel really welcome there, it was busy and the people working seemed like they may have been stressed by that. I am probably sticking to Robert Lawrence in Shorewood, which is way more expensive if you want color and even a cut, but they listen. Pros: nice location, pleasent front desk Cons: did not listen more

Front desk friendly. But the stylest who cut my hair, don't remember her name, - larger, chubby girl, blond looking hair , up stairs -not recommended. I don't know if all the girls who cut hair there are this unfriendly but don't go to her- bad vibe, bad personality, bad hair cut. more
