The team that you have on this place is such a breathtaking bunch of people. I took my co workers in here for a late night dinner and they all did like the ambiance in here. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 3/7/2014

Very disappointed in our food and also attitude of the owner when we discussed it with her. Party of 8. Felt crowded from tables all around. Three of us not satisfied with one if their specials, grouper, very bland. Owner defensive and practically chastised us for complaining , no apology or bill adjustment. Price for value unsatisfactory. Will not be back. more

Feel extremly duped 2/14/2012

I was so excited when my husband booked Valentine's Day reservations at Casa Nuova. We had talked about going there but had never been. We were planning on going out to a different restaurant but he surprised me with reservations at Casa Nuova. We are on an extreme budget and he looked at their menu and decided that it would be less thann going out to the restaurant we had planned. When we arrived, we discovered that they had a specific menu and the menu price for the meal was $50. Since it was Valentine's Day you would assume that it was for a couple....SURPRISE!! No, the quantities seemed smaller than what would be normal (3 stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer and a very small portion of pasta, regular sized side salad). When we received the check we discovered that it was PER PERSON! The menu did not disclose this fact and if, in fact it did, we would have had the opportunity to bow out gracefully. As it ended up we paid at least double to what we would have paid elsewhere. At the normal menu prices this restaurant it would have been ok but they took advantage of the fact that it was a ""holiday"" and charged and exorbitant amount. We will never go back simply due to the fact that we felt the pricing should have been disclosed explicitly beforehand. My husband was devastated and felt entirely taken advantage of.....I hope this helps someone else to check more closely before they order. Obviously the owners either don't know how to disclose or cannot be trusted. more

Exceptional Italian Cuisine in Alpharetta 4/29/2011

We love both the food and the ambiance at Casa Nueva. It reminds us of the family restaurants we ate in when we vacationed in Italy. Everything is good and the service is always warm and friendly, yet efficient. Highly recommended! more

This place is amazing! 1/24/2011

My wife and I were recommended to Casa Nuovo last year. Since then, we have been there, at least, 10 times. We have introduced this place to so many of our friends. Why? Because it is, by far, the best Italian restaurant I have been to in the Atlanta area. Actually, it would give some New York restaurants competition. \r It is a casual, friendly, ""feels like home"" atmosphere. The waiters are knowledgeable of the menu and will help if you are undecided what to choose from on their vast menu. Believe me....EVERYTHING is great! No matter what you are in the mood for, be rest-assured whatever you choose, it will completely satisf you. It is THE PLACE to go for great food (all the time) with a reasonably-prices menu, consisting of incredible specials and everyday fare. Do yourself a favor....DO NOT MISS THIS ONE! and You're welcome!!! more

Alpharetta's Italian Secret! 11/22/2010

The best Italian in Alpharetta. Maria the owner, and the wait staff make your dining experience extra special. I have never had a bad meal here. I hardly ever order off the menu...the special are always fantastic. If you have not tried it...your missing out. more

AhhhMAZING!!!!!! You would think you were in Italy! 7/14/2010

In town for business from Austin, TX and was recommended to another Italian place, but when I looked it up, I found Casa Nuova's reviews to be more to my liking so decided to give it a try. What can I say? I thought I was in Italy! The Owner is amazing and everything is fresh, homemade and organically grown in her own garden. I grew up around real Italians and this food was as good as their mama's!! This is a little piece of HEAVEN that YOU need to know about so, run!!! Don't Walk... great for the family, for a business meal, for a couple, girls night-out, you name it, worthy of any occasion! Can you tell I loved it? Pros: EVERYTHING more

Typical small store front restaurant on the outside but once inside the food is delicious and the service is good. Its always packed so make sure you call for reservations. more

a favorite of ours 1/18/2010

A favorite of ours for lunch and dinner -well worth the drive to get there- always busy. Staff is welcoming and accomodating from the minute you enter. They go out of their way to make the visit enjoyable. Ingredients are fresh and meals are consistently well prepared and good. There is good variety with specials and the traditional Italian menu-also- a good wine list. Pros: quality ingredients and service more

Consistently offers Great Food & Service 10/1/2008

This is a restaurant that we have been going to for over 5 years and it is consistenly excellent. Service is attentive and the owners are friendly and charming. It doesn't matter whether you order the special or something from the menu, we have never been dissapointed in the food. My wife even had them cater her company's Christmas party with raves from all who attended! I've eaten in Italian restaurants all over the world and this is definitely one of the best. Pros: everything Cons: can get crowded; small space more

Traditional italian done to perfection and then some! 9/1/2008

A little piece of Italy in Georgia! You will definately feel like you are taken back in time a bit. A cozy atmosphere and an owner to meet you at the door. The wine selection is awesome, a bit of everything for every taste. The daily specials are varied and if you LOVE sea food you're in luck, they make it so delicious. The garlic bread is hands down the best anywhere (and they don't mind keeping the basket full)! I love the veal parm and the lasagna, but I am more traditional. Having lived in the Atlanta area for 8 years I am comfortable in recommending this to EVERYONE!\r PS...I am a real italian myself! Gee, I think I may go tonight for Labor Day dinner! Pros: You will not leave hungry or disappointed! Cons: The wait may be uncomfortable but worth it! more

Friendly homey atmosphere, great food and service 5/4/2008

It is always a delightful evening to go to Casa Nuevo. Tony and Maria the owners make all guests feel like old frineds. The food is delicious especially the nights special features. Last evening we had the salmon stuffed with baby shrimp and lobster it was incredible. The selections of wine can please the average wine drinker or someone with a more developed sense.\r A great place to dine and be with friends. Homey, comfortable, try the wine dinners they are fantastic value and huge success.\r Thank you Tony and Maria for making our experience,, as always memorable!!!! more

Casa Nuova 5/2/2008

I frequent Cafe Nuova every time I visit my family in Atlanta which is a couple of times a year. I live in New Jersey where there are excellent Italian restaurants throughout the state. Cafe Nuova is a stiff competitor with those restaurants. The food is excellent - I just had the cannelloni today and was tempted to ask for another order to take home because it was so good. The owners and wait staff are also so friendly and welcoming. One of my pet peeves is asking for water refills but I never had to ask for a refill; my water glass was always refilled before it went empty. I really enjoy the salads in the summer since the vegetables come from the owners personal garden. And, don't forget to save room for the tiramsu! more

Casa Nuova 5/2/2008

I can not disagree more with the first review.\r Casa Nuova is a great restaurant with very friendly and efficient staff.\r The food is excellent and the value is very good.\r I have been a customer for over three years and although is not close yo my home I keep going back. All the friends that i have taken there think that this is a great restaurant.\r By the way the only cubans in the restaurant are the owner/chef that is always in the kitchen and his wife, the rest of the staff is not cuban. Pros: Great food and service at reasonable price Cons: A little too far more

the worst Italian I have ever had. A bunch of Cubans trying to act Itailian, osa bucco was fatty and bland the lasangna was terrible, defenitly not authentic, waiter was rude and full of himself 2/15/2008

Lets start with the half an hour wait to be seated even though we had reservations, there was no place to even wait the tiny bar was crambed so we had to wait outside in the cold. The food was bad dont try the veal. The waiter which I think was the owner was rude and full of himself. I speak good Itailian and all I heard was a bunch of cubans talking about us all night. I have had better food from a coffee truck. Thumbs down on cuba nuevo. more
