Last week my husband called and spoke with a man over at Car King about a 2001 Nissan Xterra that I had wanted to test drive. The salesman put my husband on hold while he went to see if the vehicle was still available...he came back on the line and said it's available and that I could take it for a ride. I drove it over to my husband at work. He drove it, and it smelled like oil every time we'd stop or slow down. I dropped my husband back off at work and brought the truck back. The salesman asked me twice how I liked it, I told him it drove really nice..and then asked him if they have mechanics....he said yes, so I asked him what the oil smell is from. At first he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about so I repeated myself, and he said it was a leaky seal, but the part has been ordered, and then he tells me that the truck was sold!!! I was irritated already, and that just made it even worse since he had already told my husband just an hour before I drove it...that it was available! I stormed off to my car and he yelled to me and said ""you wouldn't have been interested anyway would you?"" I told him yes, if he gets the problem fixed (head gasket)...and he said the part is ordered and if I were to buy the truck there would be no problems with it and that he'd give me a call the next day if the ""buyer's"" financing didn't go thru (I already knew that was a lie)! I did not get a call, but the vehicle is still there and they are posting it every day on Craigslist! I would not recommend doing business with them, and if you do, please spend the extra $100 to have an inspection done by a mechanic that you can trust! more

Bought a car from them and found out 7 months later when i went to get a trade in value on it from another dealer that the odometer was not correct, decreasing the cars value more than half. do not buy from these ignorant people that like to screw you out of your money!!!! more

I have bought 4 cars from car king and my most recent one is a Toyota Camry that I started with 100,000 miles on it and is now over 300,000 thousand. Mechanically it is still great but the Wisconsin weather has taken a toll on the body. Knowing I could rely on Car King for the costumer service and financial help I went back to Car King last week and bought a 2009 Altima. Great New Year's present to myself!! more

I purchased my 01 Nissian Pathfinder From Car King, and I couldn't be more pleased. I knew what I wanted and I was glad I could find what I wanted ( which was the Pathfinder) at the price I could afford. Everyone was so nice too, Sam was very nice and knowledgeable, And didn't feel pressured or felt like "" just a sale"", and the other guy, Bob was able to negotiate a price with my husbend and I that was perfect for us, and Now that our Family is getting larger, we all ready in the talks to find something larger for us, and guess what were are going back to Car king. more

I recently purchased a vehicle at Car King and couldn't be more pleased. The sales staff (Sam) was not only professional and polite but very accommodating to my every inquiry. I have had my vehicle for a few months now, and still can't believe the great deal that I got on it. I will definitely purchase my next vehicle from them. Do not purchase a car from these guys unless you want to deal with people who seem drunk and rush you through looking at cars. Couldnt even get a positive answer on a price of the vehicle we were looking at. Also had to talk to the finance company ourselves...whats the point in going to a dealership? Easier to get a loan from your bank and buy personal or have a dealership knock some off the price since you did the leg work. more

Car King is horrible and they do not stand by their word or cars. I purchased a van there for my girls' basketball team and the van's check engine light came on 2 days after I purchased the vehicle. Several items on the buyers list were falsified. After telling the salepersons they kept the van for 2 weeks before releasing it to me. The check engine light came on again and they said it was checked and nothing to worry about. Almost 2 and a half weeks later the van's engine went out. Sam told me that if anything went wrong they would fix the problem. My van was sitting on the lot for 4 months while he claimed they were looking for an engine. I finally got in contact with the manager who was supposedly on vacation for 2 months. In the end they informed me that they were not responsible and would not take any part in helping me. Now I'm out of $1,500 to get a new engine. I would NEVER go to Car King again. They don't care about their customers they are just concerned with selling lousy cars. more

If you are interested in buying a car only to discover within 48 hours that there is between $1000 - $2000 in repairs needed, most conflicting with the vehicle Buyer's Guide declarations, then Car King is the place to go. more

We have been buying cars from Car King since 1996, and have always been extremely satisfied in every way. When our son decided to buy his first car we naturally directed him to car King due to the level of trust we have encountered over the years. My son purchased a Hyundai Elantra and the check engine light came on the next day after the purchase. We called Sammie, our salesman and he promptly took care of everything for us. He assured us CK would take care of everything and not to worry in the least. As a man of his word, CK ran a few tests, discovered it was the catalytic converter and his car was in the shop and repaired all within a few days. They replaced the old converter with a new part from Hyundai, which was not exactly cheap to fix! These guys are great, Luke, Sammie, and even Bob Kerr who is also a man of his word. We have ventured onto other lots to check it, out but always end up buying from Car King. The best value and service in town! more

I went here to purchase a vehicle and the salesman JOE, was EXTREMELY RUDE, he not only belittled my vehicle he also belittled my bank for giving me advice about what to offer for the vehicle that i was interested in purchasing. He told me that ""maybe your bank should find you a vehicle then, since they know so much"". I wanted to negotiate the pice of the vehicle and he promptly told me that there would be NO NEGOTIATION! i hadnt even made an offfer! I took my business elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE , JOE IS ONLY NICE WHEN YOU WANT TO TEST DRIVE A VEHICLE, WHEN IT IS TIME TO PURCHASE HE TURNS EXTREMELY RUDE! more

It has been a little over two weeks since I purchased a vehicle from Car Krap..oops I mean King, and it is a straight up LEMON. Not only did I have a Wheel hub put on which cost me damn near $300 now I need a catalytic converter. My car won't even pass emissions. Take it from me and save your hard earned money and don't buy from these guys!! Pros: nothing Cons: everything more
