Calder Urgent Care

Absolutely terrible. Took my wife in because she wasn't feeling well and was told an hour wait. After an hour and a half I watched a guy who had been there 30 minutes get called back. 15 minute after that we are allowed to go to an exam room. After basic vitals are taken, we are told it will be another half hour for the dr. to come in. So here we sit.... Almost 2 1/2 hours into this adventure and still no doc. If it wasn't for the fact that they made us pay up front before the wait, I'd have left an hour ago. I will NEVER never NEVER come back to this place. I actually signed up for this service just to complain about this establishment. What a horrid horrid experience. The Dr. Just showed up btw. Seems nice, but it would have been nicer an hour ago. more

I first met Dr. Guiderian during Hurricane Katrina, I had 3 elderly ladies staying with me that I had rescued from the Astrodome. We were at Walmart getting medications for them when someone told us that Calder Urgent Care was giving free visits for Katrina victims. So off we went he was very nice and caring & I have been seeing him every since. I admit you do have to wait sometimes what even I think is to long especially if you don't have and appointment. However, I feel it's worth the wait. I have had problems with the staff, however, I asked for the office manager and the problem was taken care of. Overall Dr. Guiderian and his staff are very caring, and knowledable and that's what counts. I have always been satisfied with my care. more

The doctors here obviously don't care about their patients. Busy or not, people are not just numbers... After seeing the doctor here, he told me he would make sure I had the meds I need until I see my specialist because of a thyroid problem. He told me that somebody would call me with a referral and that never happened. I even went in to ask what was up and they made me sign in and pay another co-pay, just so they could tell me the same thing. I have left messages several times and have never gotten a call back. When I did talk to somebody who was supposed to call in my prescription, they said it would take 20 minutes, 6 hours later the pharmacy never got a call. When I try to call back they were rude and said ""well we called it in"" and i said ""well nobody there has received it"" to which I got an ""ummm welllll I guess we will call and see what the deal is"" the doctors they have referred me to have been awful and cant even keep record of an appointment. I am fed up with dealing with this place... Go somewhere else... more
