Probably the most disappointing Macy's I've ever been in. Customer Service is non-existent. Selection is weak. Store layout is cramped and uninviting. Doesn't even have ...

Non existent furniture 11/22/2008

OMG do not order furniture from this store. Been waiting 3 months so far for a television cabinet. Now I'm being told it won't be in til next month. I'm considering canceling the order. Do not know if it is a CHINA thing or not, but not sure I'm going to ever get this cabinet. China thing or not, it is cheaper, but NOT worth the wait. more

It's a mall...just a mall 11/15/2007

I suppose after being spoiled with the Glendale Galleria for decades, most malls pale in comparison (the South Coast Plaza and the Beverly Center notwithstanding). This mall seems to be getting an internal facelift, but the outside needs a TON of work. The last time I was here the elevator in the parking lot was broken...and as I was gimping around on one foot...hopping up two flights of stairs was not exciting to say the least. more

Good local mall 11/18/2006

When I first moved to Burbank, I drove by the Media Center to scope things out. San Fernando Blvd is a really cool street, with lots of shops and eateries. The Mall itself is a great end-cap to the street, offering a food court, a very tiny theater, and connections to Bed Bath and Beyond, and Sports Chalet. A large parking lot is situated behind which can be used for the Burbank 16 movie theater as well. It's a clean, cheerful mall, with a giant chess set on the bottom floor for people to play with, which is also used as a seaonal booth area. more

It's small but the location... 9/14/2002

This mall has three good things going for it. One it gets alot of traffic because nearby are alot of other hot spots like ikea, california pizza kitchen and amc theaters. And two, inside they have a decent food court and a movie theater. The stores inside are the same ones you always see and the biggest department store is probably macys. This macys is really small though and looks messy. I'm pretty much a regular at this mall because i come here often to see a movie or two and its cool because it never gets that crowded and the parking is endless Pros: location, nearby stores, parking more

It's ok 7/1/2002

This mall has a couple things that I haven't seen in nearby malls. They got a sports chalet which is a decent size. And they also got an outside patio to eat on near the foodcourt. But other than that it's just like every other mall you run into. Same old 50 stores and a foodcourt. One good thing however was the fact that the mall was not nearly as crowded as I expected. Somewhat reminiscant of the old and demolished Pasadena Mall. My only complaint is that this mall doesn't carry a Hot Topic. No need to be a knitpicker though. Ill definetaly return to this mall. more

My favorite Macy's......... 6/27/2002

There is a review here that said ""blah"" but I don't understand it. I have never had a problem with service at this store and I really like the selection. Maybe it's the hours that I come here. I don't like shopping in crowds so I usually pick the dinner hour during the week. And I like help when I have a question but I don't like someone hounding me while I pick out my clothes. I find all this at the Burbank store and please don't come during the dinner hour, I want the store to myself. more

Better Than the Galleria 6/27/2002

The Media City Center takes a lot of crap from people who don't realize how hard it was to do holiday shopping or any-other-time-of-year shopping before it existed. That used to require a trip out to the Glendale Galleria, where parking equalled migraine. Though the little Burbank mall shrinks in comparison, it's a much more pleasant shopping and parking experience, even during the busiest of seasons. There's easy to navigate levels, a food court, a Johnny Rockets, two coffee shops, three main department stores (Macy's, Mervyn's and Sears) and lots of little stores, too. Pros: parking not that bad, good store variety Cons: service only ok more

blah 5/16/2002

Probably the most disappointing Macy's I've ever been in. Customer Service is non-existent. Selection is weak. Store layout is cramped and uninviting. Doesn't even have a MAC counter...the horror! Overall, a blah shopping experience. Pros: good location, good hours Cons: poor selection, poor cutomer service more
