This is the worst Bridal store ever. It was recommended to my daughter and we went there. They were so pleasant until after they got their money. My daughters dress ripped before the ceremony, it was missing one of the train tie ups so her gown dragged during the whole reception. Then her bridesmaids dresses fell apart. They told us AFTER the wedding that they had trouble with that certain dress and the rushing. I called after the wedding to find out that they didn't care. I registered this business with the BBB. HORRIBLE! They are a bunch of LIARS! I would never purchase anything from this organization. I purchased a gown off the rack on Saturday afternoon. It is not what I wanted. I felt pressured to buy it - both from the sales person and my family. It only needed to be hemmed, which they said would take 2 weeks. As soon as they opened Monday morning 10am, I called them. I told them that I was not happy with it. They said they would look into it and call me back. I called them back at 2:45pm the same day. They told me that the seamstress had the dress at home and did not start the alterations. I never authorized them to take the dress that I paid for out of the store!!! She would take the dress back to the store. At 3:41pm, Susan called me. I told her that I am not happy with the dress because it was not what I wanted. She went off for about 10 minutes telling me how beautiful the dress was. I actually had to cut her off to get a word in. She is not customer oriented at all. She was also trying to talk me into the dress when I specifically told her that it was not what I wanted. The dress is nice but it is not what I wanted. She is not a very good listener. Plus, she is an absolute liar. She told me that the dressed was hemmed and I could not cancel my order. It is amazing that the dress was suppposed to take 2 weeks, at 2:45pm it was not hemmed, but it was hemmed by 3:46pm. Amazing! It only took 1 hour to hem the dress just so they could stick me with it. I would never buy anything from them and would never recommend the store. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. Very Poor customer service. LOVE THIS STORE! they made my shopping experience worth it! The staff is very respectful, kind and knowledgable. This store is so much better than all of the other bridal shops I've been to. I bought my wedding gown here and it came in absolutely PERFECT! I am very short, so, I needed some alterations. The seamstress who worked on my gown was absoluetly wonderful. Her name was Amal. She was very nice and knew exactly what she was doing. My alteration appointments were always a pleasure with her. My consultant's name was Margie. She was extremely helpful to me and my whole bridal party! My total wedding experience was amazing and it all started with Bridals By Sandra!! Thank YOU! more

they lie and more lies, dont ever go there, they told my daugther they were letting her try on one of a kind dress, found out it sold in lots of bridal stores,they will tell you anything for a sale, would not recommend them to no one!!! more

This place has been around FOREVER and you can tell why! The Sales Staff really knows how to make you look amazing no matter what size you are. They are super helpful and when you take your gown home it's not a wrinkled mess cause they put this thing in it so it looks like I took out a body bag when I left, and it worked! No wrinkles! And no charge for this at all ~ they are so helpful and the styles are beautiful. Best Place By FAR for wedding gown needs! more

DO NOT GO HERE... these people are manipulative, rude, and will do anything to get a sale. They will be nice to you until they swipe your credit card. Awful, awful people. Do yourself a favor and do not order your wedding dress OR bridesmaid dresses from here.. have had awful experiences with both. more

had the best time at bridals by sandra! any smart female would go their if they are looking for a wedding gown! the expierience was excellent the staff was great and the maggie gowns are out of this world!!! my wedding isnt until december but everytime i go their they have so many people willing to work with you to make your day as special as it should be!!!!!!!! deft a 5 star rating !!! more

TERRIBLE customer service, I would absolutely NOT recommend anyone to buy a dress from this bridal shop. I ordered a dress (from a rather rude sales associate named Kate) in November that took longer than 6 months to receive. When it finally arrived, it was the wrong color (a mistake that Sandra's wouldn't own up to, but blamed it on the manufacturer for not specifying how they should order the product). Also, it was sewn completely crooked and was ripped (keep in mind this passed Sandra's ""inspection"" when they received it). My wedding is in October, so I received a dress that took more than 6 months to ""custom tailor"" only 5 months before the big day and had to have it sent back to get an entirely new dress. I was reassured that it would be perfect and would be back at Sandra's in 4-6 weeks because ""the manufacturer thought my wedding was in August."" I called just 2 weeks later to cancel the order all together and was told that that was not an option and was given no other alternative. It is now 10 weeks later and the dress has still not arrived. When I called to inquire about the status of my dress order, I was told ""it is due any day and we will call you when it comes in."" I informed the associate that it was due any day over 2 weeks ago and that this was unacceptable, to which I received no apology and was brushed off yet again. I have resorted to buying a second (more beautiful, might I add) dress from a different company because I can't possibly put my trust in this atrocious company to follow through with their empty promises. I hate that I have given them even a penny towards their completely unacceptable behavior and cheaply made product. This will not be the last bad review I submit. more

one of the worst service places. I walked right in no one greeted me, and i was there for 20 minutes and over 4 store clerks walked striaght passed me. Snotty people! You can tell just from there attitude not professional at all! My friend who went there for her prom dress was never called back like promised, she had to call there. There dresses are not! in good condition. everyone of them are not in bag or anything and almost all have pulls on them or missing beads. dresses are OVERPRICED! and come in limited sizes. anything over a size ten will be extremly disapointed. Never going back. more

Don't always write reviews but I just got my gown and I love it so much and I love the girls who worked with me. My sales girl is beautiful and not that THAT was important to me, but I knew she understood exactly what I wanted! They have this neat designer who makes really amazing dresses that fit me perfectly! I didn't want a strapless gown cause I am a bit top heavy and yet this gown fits perfectly! My mom and I heard of alteration nightmares and we were ready to have one with my shape. My sales girl told me she knew just want to show me and she was right! This place gives you a person who will help you plan EVERYTHING and I don't even have to hire a wedding planner. THEY help me with everything! Pros: Nice girls help you without being pushy Cons: Couldn't find one thing bad about my day more

Sending a huge thank you to all three girls who helped me find the perfect wedding gown! It may have taken me three visits to be sure the gown was just perfect, but the patience these three girls had for me was worth writing about. My first bridal consultant, Ashley, helped me find the perfect dress, but naturally I felt she was just trying to sell me. Turns out they really DO want to find you the best suited gown; and I shouldn't have been so worried about a sales person trying to help me. After 3 visits, I can see that they were right! It's really wonderful how they really do focus on finding me the right dress for my wedding plans and for my body type. (I'm not an easy fit and my gown looks amazing on me!) Hats off to Bridals by Sandra and the way those girls know what to look for to make their brides look amazing!!! Great Job! Pros: great sales girls / beautiful gowns/ great prices Cons: none! more

I went to 6 other bridal shops and tried on about 40 dresses (no kidding) prior to going to Bridals by Sandra. A co-worker recommended the place so I decided to try it. Our 11:30a appointment became closer to noon, but the rest was a great experience. Once the consultant understood what I liked she pulled a dress she thought would look great on me and fit my description. Perfect match! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for special occasion dresses. more

I went to Sandra's back in June, and figured i would give it a shot. A friend of mine got her dress from there and said it was great. This was my first experience trying on dresses, and thought it was going to be very exciting. In the end it was not for me. The girl that i was assigned to was young and inexperienced. I went in there telling her exactly what i wanted. I said i want something simple, not puffy, no lace and no beading. She brought out a dress that had beading all on the top and as puffy as Cinderella's dress. I looked at her and said i asked for something simple with no beading and not puffy. She then told me i should just try it on. Why would i want to try it on when its not what i am looking for. She then brought out another dress, i swear this girl did not listen to a word i said, it was purple with cream lace and had big puffy sleeves, and looked like something from the wedding singer. I told her she was going to give me nightmares. Not once did she ever bring me out a dress that i asked for. Everything she brought out was puffy and covered with beading. At one point i said lets not do anymore satin and try organza. Well the next dress she brought out was satin. This continued for about 6-8 more dresses, until i started to cry, then another woman stepped in from the next room and said maybe you should show her this dress.... this girl was just clueless. It was a horrible experience, what i needed was to pick out dresses from a catalog and have her go and get them. They do not have catalogs there and even though i brought in pictures this girl did not have a clue. This store was not for me, maybe it would have been a better experience if the girl had listened. I got so upset that i left and never went back there. A bit of advice, if you do go there and they are not listening, ask for someone else, or when booking ask for someone with experience. went to Bridals by Sandra last year for a bridesmaids dress for a friend's wedding and had a good experience. this led me to believe that i should go to Sandra's for my own wedding and bridesmaids -BIG MISTAKE. picking out my dress wasn't a problem--it was everything else that comes after you buy the dress. Pros: selection of dresses ok. ordering time from some manufacturers is faster than online ordering. Cons: Management thinks you're an idiot. Alteration turnaround 1month or longer; poor reception area (only 2 seats); rude management more

I was extremely disappointed with Sandra's Bridal, which I visited approxiamately 2 weeks ago. When we arrived there was a LONG line at the desk (15 minutes I waited just to let them know I was there). Then my mom and I waited an hour before we even got into a dressing room. Our appointment was at 1pm, we were in the dressing room at 2:15pm and out the front door by 2:50pm. I am a street size 14, so the girl that was helping me was bringing out sizes 16-30. Their selection of dresses size 14 and above was HORRIBLE!! They only had 8 dresses to choose from that I could actually try on!! 6 of the 8 were so ugly and HUGE (size 22 and above) that the girl used C clamps to make the dress snug enough!! Then when I told her I only liked 1 of the 8 she let me actually go in the back and look at other dresses. When I found two I liked they only had them in a size 10 (street size 6). This sales girl told me to put my arms threw the shoulder straps to pretend how it might LOOK!! WHO the heck is going to spend $800 pretending what a dress will look like!! The worst experience I have ever had!! Pros: Bathroom facilities (LOL) Cons: everything else more

This place will hold a bridal gown for a deposit ($25) so that ""no one else can try it on"" & that it's available for you to try on at any time and wont be sold from stock (do they actually do that?). You can apply the deposit to any WEDDING gown you order from them but dont expect to transfer that to any other gown (Bridesmaid, MOB, etc) When I questioned them as to why we couldnt do that---they basically made up stories about having to notify the manufacturer (do you think the designer knows I had a dress on hold????) and complained about my daughter's changed appointments and then became sarcastic. I also question the practice of them removing these ""on hold"" dresses (for over 30 days) from availability to other brides. Seems to me all the best dresses are hidden in that on hold room. So as long as you think everything will go smoothly with your wedding attire decisions you can risk going to this place. I was promised a call back from Sandra--over 2 weeks ago--not a word yet. Be prepared for a bit of a snooty attitude from the reception area & a long wait even if you have an appointment. The mantra of ""the customer is always right"" does NOT apply here! When I was told what dress I needed to order for my friend's wedding, I went to houseofbrides dot com to find out how much i needed to budget. it listed the MSRP as $210 and their price as $168, plus shipping of about $20. Bridals by Sandra's price was $176 got this dress, but if you paid in full at the time you ordered, you get 10% off! more

I went to Sandras Bridal bc my girlfriend got her dress and bridesmaids dresses there and everyone was very nice. I went back for my dress and my girls dresses. After ordering my dress I had second thoughts. Sandra's worked through helping me find a new dress, and even had one of their sales associates get into my bridesmaid gown and stand next to me so that I could get a better idea of how my dress would look with my girls dresses. They are not pushy or overbearing like a lot of the other shops I visited. Anyone getting married should go and visit Sandra's I guarantee they will find a dress and great customer service! I never wrote before, but my daughter is going to I'm sure! I got my gown at Sandra's in 1978. The place still looks amazing, and the people may be younger, but my daugher really loves her gown, and the way she was taken care of at this place. They still do things like they did in 1978, and no one is pushy like you get at other places. Not only do they have gowns from other countries, but they also have some that are just like those you see at David's only there's are much cheaper! They say it's cause they don't offer tv ads or large brochures, like the chain stores do. I was shocked to see they were cheaper! Our consultant (I don't want to say her name) but she was really helpful, and explained why things were the cost they were. Made lots of sense. No one else ever explained things that way. Not even when I got married. I'm online a lot right now doing wedding things, and had to write cause I know my daughter said she was going to also. Just to let other bride's know, just go here first! I live in Nazareth, and naturally, I had was excited for everyone to go shopping with me. My mom, my grandmother, and two of my friends all headed to a new little store I saw an ad for in the paper. Never bothering to go to Bridals by Sandra cause it was just two blocks away from my mom's house. Well, driving all around to this tiny shop that really knew nothing was just a waste of time. I made an appointment to go to Sandra's the next Saturday, and yes, they were really busy, but when they took me into my own little dressing room, and sat down and talked with me about my wedding, I felt like I was the only one in the place. It was really fun. They make you feel so special, and the gowns glow. You can really see they have quality gowns, and mine costs less than 500 dollars. I even told them I could spend more, but we all agreed this one was just perfect! I get married next summer, and they are even helping me find a good reception place for my large wedding. I know my consultant will help me do most of the work cause she already gave me color ideas without me asking her. I liked that. Some people don't like it when other people give you suggestions, but with a wedding, everyone wants to have it perfect. I really believe these people can make that happen.
