One-stop shop for all your Audi and VW needs 8/5/2005

Brian is an amazing guy. At the first sight, he seems to be too forceful, but he knows VW/Audi products inside out. He loves these cars, he races a Golf II (with pretty good results), and he even makes a point of never working with any other make. His diagnostics are always 100% correct and his work is nearly flawless (and if the car still has a problem after the visit, Brian will take the car back and correct it right away, most of the times at no additional charge). The only two problems are his busy schedule (the usual wait time is 3-7 days) and that he will only use his own supply of parts (no way to use those cheap Internet parts stores). more

Awesome, customer focused organization 4/27/2005

Wow, this is how an auto repair shop should be run. They have turned me into an advocate and lifelong customer. The guys at Brian's Garage are friendly (in a MA way), knowledgable, straightforward and honest. They truly want what is best for you and your car, and will guide you to make the best decisions. The first time I walked in there, Brian was advising a customer to get a particular part from the customer's father (a dealer on the west coast) because it was a small part, could be easily shipped and would end up costing the customer a lot less. I've now had my car serviced there 3 times, and I've walked away from every transaction even more suprised and pleased by the work they do and the fair and honest way they deal with their customers. They are located near the Eliot T (on the Green line), and are happy to drop you there and pick you up as needed. If you have an Audi or VW, you should be taking it here. more

Great VW & Audi mechanics 10/26/2004

The mechanics at Brian's Garage really know Audis and VWs. Located just off of 95, a few miles south of 90, Brian's Garage is a small shop that has found a market segment and dominated it. I recently purchased a used Audi A4, and did extensive research to find a good mechanic. Brian's Garage was heavily recommended on a number of Audi forums, so I took my car there for an initial inspection.

Stu (Brian's brother), walked me through all aspects of the car, correctly identifying prior mechical and body work that had been done. He possesed a great understanding of the car, and was willing to show me absolutely everything that he referred to. He also gave me a few tips for caring for the car, and identified some common wear points that I should watch.

Many mechanics do not take the time to show and explain what they did or what needs to be done (either because they are unwilling to take the time or because they feel that they need to hide something). I was instantly felt at ease at Brian's Garage, and I have a high degree of confidence in their mechanical ability as well as their honesty. more
