Last week, my wife and I were eating sushi with my wife's coworker, when we happened to mention that we like to buy stuff from Mike's Pastry. She was appaled. She couldn't understand how we could eat those terrible things Mike's makes. Apparently, she's a Modern Pastry girl (in case you didn't know, Mike's vs. Modern is somewhat similar to Red Sox vs. Yankees, though these two shops are across the street from each other). After a brief argument, we promised to go to Modern and compare.
One week later, some cannolis and tiramisu were purchased at both shops. Then, a panel of four experts were fed small pieces in no particular order. The results were:
Cannolis: Mike's 2 - Modern 1 (one expert did not participate)
Tiramisu: Mike's 3 - Modern 1.
Disclaimers: FWIW. YMMV. Too much sweet stuff will make you fat.
Oh, and if you want to have good coffee - do go next door to Caffe Vittoria as the other reviewer said.

Lisa and Aby Zemack are simply amazing. They run a family real estate agency (independent). They both are great agents, but they have different styles, so no matter what you are looking for in an agent, you will find it in either Lisa or Aby.
The Zemacks mostly work with Framingham properties, expanding into nearby towns (Natick, Wayland, Sudbury). They are extremely successful in their business, which means that you will be successful in your house purchase or sale, if you choose them. We did exactly that four years ago, when Lisa helped us find our first house.
Four years later, we are still enjoying our house, and we still keep in touch with Lisa and Aby. They provide us with updates on the situation in the real estate market, which we share with our friends, who are looking for homes of their own.

I had a single encounter with this dealership, and it was the first and last one. I was in the market for a used BMW with very specific features. Barry's Honda happened to have it on their lot. Considering how rare this car was, I decided to take a look at it, even though it's over 70 miles from my office.
First, I called the dealership to get some information that wasn't in the ad. I spoke to Artie, who promised to find out the answers to all my questions. Five minutes later he called me and said that the car was out on a testdrive. An hour later he called again and said that a manager drove it home for the night, but the car would be available the next day. We set up the test drive for the next day at 1:15pm.
The next day, at 11:40am, I called Artie and asked if the car was available, and he said, "Yes, it's on the parking lot, and I'll be waiting for you." So I drove there (over 1 hour one way). When I arrived, Artie bounced me to his manager (Kevin), who bounced me to another salesman (Greg). Greg was told to go out and get the car ready for the test drive.
After a 20-minute wait (actually, I never saw Greg anymore), Kevin came to me and said that he would be able to help me. He seated me at his desk and told me that the car was sold to a wholesaler the previous night. Without a pause, he started selling me all other used cars remotely similar to the one I was looking for, even though the first thing I told him was that I was looking for a very specific model and option packages. I refused to talk about those cars, and insisted on getting in touch with the wholesaler to find out if he had a customer, or would be ready to do business with me. At this point, another manager (Chip Gray) took over. He refused to give me the wholesaler's contact information. I asked him to call the wholesaler while I was waiting. He walked away. 10 minutes later he came back and said that the wholesaler's phone wasn't answering, but since the car hadn't been paid for, he could get it back for me if I was serious about the purchase. I said that I was, so Chip promised to call me the same day with an update.
Two days later, I still haven't heard from them. As far as I understand this business, their goal was to get me to the dealership no matter what (who cares, if the customer has to drive 70 miles to look at the car that's no longer there), and try to sell me whatever else they had. Chip's promise to get the car back and call me was, apparently, just another lie, this time to get me out once they understood I wouldn't buy anything else.

Brian is an amazing guy. At the first sight, he seems to be too forceful, but he knows VW/Audi products inside out. He loves these cars, he races a Golf II (with pretty good results), and he even makes a point of never working with any other make. His diagnostics are always 100% correct and his work is nearly flawless (and if the car still has a problem after the visit, Brian will take the car back and correct it right away, most of the times at no additional charge). The only two problems are his busy schedule (the usual wait time is 3-7 days) and that he will only use his own supply of parts (no way to use those cheap Internet parts stores).

The Cars Co is your typical auto mechanic, who will take almost any job, but is best at standard stuff (no high-tech repairs, please). They don't specialize in any specific make. Their best use is to perform regular maintenance and basic repairs like brakes or suspension. They also perform body work, and do it very well. The owners (Eugene, Vlad, and Slava) are nice people, they are very courteous and accommodating. They will fix whatever needs to be fixed, and they will never try to gouge you for unnecessary repairs.

Landshark Automotive is two guys, Lenny and Dimitry, who work exclusively on BMW cars, and do it very well. They are a great alternative to the neighboring Autobahn shop (who don't allow you to bring your own parts and have long waiting lists). Landshark guys will help you maintain the car per specifications, they will take care of any problem, and if you want to upgrade your car, they will help you, too. Be careful though: these guys are BMW fanatics, and sometimes they get carried away telling you what great things could be done to your car. So try to keep them focused on the task at hand, and they'll make sure you can continue enjoying your ultimate driving machine for many years and miles.
