I don't know about the one in Sherman Oaks, but the one in Century City is awesome!!! Usually people will wander in while they are waiting for a movie but I like to go in during the week. The staff is ever so helpful and kind. They even make recommendations based on previous books I have read. I have never experienced that kind of help in a bookstore. more

Borders Express 10/1/2005

The staff of this bookstore is very friendly and eager to assist. I have noticed they run quite a bit of promotions and sales throughout the year. The items on tables are usually discounted further. The store is charming and attractively organized and is easy to browse through and look around. more

First class book store 9/28/2005

My son loves to go here, he has so much fun in the store's children's section. I must admit that I like it as well. I pick up a few things to read and accompany my son to his part of the store. However, I must admit hat I was a little disappointed that they dont' have some of the books, I'd like to purchase, not even to order. more
