I used to walk past this store a lot figuring I would never need to go in since Ihave a full set of luggage. But I ended up going in one day and I am gllad I did. They dont' have just lugage. They have some great handbags and briefcases as well. Since i'm a mom, I need my purses to be durable yet look great. Nice to know I can get durability with style.
If you are so inclined, they also personalize and/or monogram the item for you.

If you need to stand out at a party, date or other social event, then come here to pick it out your outfit, because the clothes peak for themselves. The clothing lines they sell also tend to run small, so if you're curvy, it's going to take a little searching to find something for you...

I have picked up several things for my boyfriend here. If you like to spend a lot, you definitely can here- EASILY. The lines are not what you're going to find in just any store, they are definitely "designer" labels, yet not necessarily the ones that you'll know from the rap songs.
However, the upside to spending the money and not being a label person is that you'll look darn good. The customer service is gefinitely great and hands on. Not snobby at all, which I can appreciate.
The store is well appointed and neat. I can find things easily and the salespeople will get anything you need if you can't reach it (I'm only 5'7").

Yes, this is primarily a sport memorabilia store, but they also sell Old and New Hollywood things as well. I went in to find something for my (now)ex for Christmas since he was a HUGE football fan. I guess either the guy thought I didn't know what I was doing so he vascillated between treating me like a 5 year old girl and Forrest Gump. I bought my man's present elsewhere. If you are a woman and you see something you MUST have, I suggest taking a guy with you so you'll be taken seriously.

Being from the East Coast, I am used to being able to go ice skating outside at Rockerfeller Center around Christmas. My son misses the snow and being able to ice skate. So I've been looking for a place to that I can go to with him and brush up on my skating.
The prices here aren't bad at all, but then again, it's in Panorama City, not Bel Air. It's a great place to get out of the heat of the Valley and take the kids and not spend a lot of money. They have people here to keep everyone safe, so if you're not that great at skating, you dont' have to hurt yourself trying...
They also have leagues for the kids, lessons and you can throw your child a party here if you wish.

I hardly ever see anyone in here, and I found out why when I went in. The suits are like $200. I was invited to a last minute BBQ at my boyfriend's friends house. It was the first time meeting his friends, so I wanted something nice. I did end up finding a pretty pink 2 piece on sale and a cover up to wear (I have large breasts, so it's hard to find suits that look good but not grandmotherly). I recieved a lot of compliments on it, so I'm a happy woman.

My best friend and I both love this store. It has some great clothes, and since many Los Angelenos like to wear the same stuff, I crave anythign that is not what everyone else is wearing.
She found not only a breathtaking dress for an important party, but shoes to match. The salespeople are wonderful, and they dont' jump in you the minute you come in, but are there for you if you need them. They are also knowledgeable about the clothes, which is refreshing. I can't stand when you need to know something and the people working there dont' know anything.
I found a dress for dinner with my boyfriend that I just felt sublime in. From the minute I saw it, I knew it was perfect. I drove the salelady nuts with my shoe issues, but she was great. it's not a cheap store, but it's not ridiulously expensive, either.
Oh, the shoes deserve their own paragraph. I am a shoe junkie. I will spend whatever necessary on a great pair of shoes. I have such a time finding shoes out here on the West Coast, but I tend to fall in love with the shoes at this store. I mean, full out gasping.

I was expecting not to like it, but I did. Most places in Hollywood are super expensive and you can't afford to buy a hair tie. But this place has things for a college kid up to a movie star. I'm always hearing about so and so that was there the day before, but since it's usually someone known for their good taste, it's ok.
I make a stop in here before the new seasons start, and since they've gotten to know me (they've mistaken me for someone that used to be on a sitcom and now does movies), they let me in on the next big thing. My friends wonder how I always have the new hot thing when the stars do, but I havent' told. I just smile.
I think this store is why I've never been to Fred Segal...

I used to take my son to another place to get his hair cut. I've always driven past this place, but never stopped until one say he REALLY needed a haircut, I coudln't take it any more. So we stopped here.
They have a LARGE tv with movies constantly palcying for the children and 2 tv's with PS2 for them to play on and many toys on a large rug as well. I have to practically beg hm to leave.
But the haircuts are good (he even got a mohawk last time) and I have no complaints. They dont' let you leave unsatisfied. And appointment or not, they will get you in as fast as possible.

Ok, so I know that not everyone is as bad as I am with the food. But I couldnt' find much to eat, I ended up getting a chicken caesar salad. Their slogan is "Fresh. Clean. Simple. Organic", so I guess that explains it. My best friend loves it here, but she loves seafood since she's allergic to meat. But she also likes this place since it's right in the middle of Rodeo Drive.
If you're into "people watching", you can do it from outside. We ate outside and could watch the sports on the big tvs inside as well.
