I don't know about the one in Sherman Oaks, but the one in Century City is awesome!!! Usually people will wander in while they are waiting for a movie but I like to go in during the week. The staff is ever so helpful and kind. They even make recommendations based on previous books I have read. I have never experienced that kind of help in a bookstore.

Well, I have only been here twice but this salon appears to be very clean and nice. I get an answer when I call on the telephone, and they remind me of my appointment the day before. They do mainly hair though, I wish they did nails.

They do have beautiful things, but these things are not exclusive to this store. They have a terrible return policy, so don't buy anything here for a gift.

My daughter is so happy when I take her to Happy Nails. It is supposed to be for us grown-up ladies but, honestly, I wouldn't have anything more than a pedicure there. It is all staffed by women who speak no English, they just keep nodding their heads. I asked for acrylic nails one time, and a dirty guy showed up with a nail kit, wearing a t-shirt that said "You Think This Is Kinky? Just Wait" Anyway, I changed my mind.

I have never been in such a clean and organized place. Usually sports equipment and apparel stores are dirty and messy, and you can't find anyone to help you. At Chicks, there are lots of friendly young people at every turn, wanting to help. Also, everything is folded, and everything is in their proper places in the store, so it is easy to find.
